This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

  1. Weird that just popped up in the steam exploration section. the game looks interesting but seems kind of boring. its definitely different but not the kind of survival game I would find any interest in plus $20 is a bit pricey

  2. having to be in humping distance of a danger noodle to kill it with a spear is a little crazy if you ask me. but beautiful game, I thought it looked cool when you played the demo too

  3. Thanks for the look-see, I'm not thrilled with this game but it's early so we'll see. BTW Infected beta branch update, time for a new season! Now with worker NPC! Can't wait to see you get that going!

  4. Meat will spoil after some time.
Those markers are not for meditation points but teleporters to other areas (you need to unlock them first – prabobly finish first area)
To carry potions you need tonic flask

  5. I am roughly 20 hours into this game, I take it very slow and despite that I am at the last biome and can already tell that the grind doesn't get easier as you progress, you will still collect resources the same way and pace, your carrying capacity however do grows, but this game has a lot of problems besides weird bugs and glitches that in my opinion definitely doesn't justify the high asking price.
Melee combat(spear) is horrible, bow is the way to go, and even this is in the most basic form I have seen in a long time, no way to know when food is close to spoil, crafting and building is very limited and basic without any way to move stuff if you make a mistake which just makes the grind more devastating, especially in later game where some of the more advanced stuff cost an arm and a leg, I could go on for hours about everything I feel that is wrong with this otherwise beautiful game, it just doesn't make me feel that I've been entertained, however a few small tips…

    – You can turn off the snakes, I did after having been poisoned an insanely amount of times because time flies so quick, especially when you are far away from base, and you need to get to bed early or you will die from lack of sleep, also you need to constantly meditate or make a huge amount of spirit tonics to avoid the meditation or you will die to lack of spirit, but those cannot be made before you get to the 2nd biome, so yeah you are forced into 2-4 full meditations each day depending on what you do.

    – Drop whatever you don't need on you in piles on the ground when going out to collect stuff, yes you can later on craft storage boxes, but they are pretty much useless since they can only hold a small amount of weight.

    – Build near fresh water and a meditation dome and only use it before you need to sleep, yes you do not gain spirit while sleeping, also you can sometimes wake up having lost all or some spirit.

    – As soon as you can, craft several drying racks, pelt cure very slowly and you will need a lot of those later on.

I am already very burnt out on this game and just want to see it end despite being very much into mindful meditation, I have several good meditation games and have enjoyed them, but this hybrid survival/meditation mix doesn't really work well for me, so I would definitely not recommend this to anyone who aren't into meditation… If you are mostly into survival games, then this is most likely not for you, it just lacks too much in depth and progression.

  6. I feel saturated with all the survival games out there. I crave a game that has:

    Rust style building/combat/crafting/optional raiding
DayZ style scope (map size/variety/enterable buildings)
    Days Gone style zombie hordes
Rust style UI (very responsive and intuitive)
    Ark style scale of NPC/wildlife
    7DTD style blood moon/events
    Icarus style weather events

    One can dream! 😜

  7. Thank you for the lets play. These are critical to me purchasing any game. The game looks really nice and I know how hard it is to create an environment. It's tough for sure.
But this one I'll let rest for a while until it "grows up". Making me meditate is a game stopper for me. I'm here to play a game, not look at a circle on the screen. Sorry if that sounds harsh but it wasn't intended. The spear animation also needs a lot of work.

  8. so far, this game is not grabbing me, and do not think the requirement to do meditation is a good idea. I'll definitely watch more videos on this to see if it gets any better.
