My lyrics, based on the chant sequence “Dies Irae” from the traditional Requiem Mass. Its writing was “inspired” by the July 16 anniversary of Traditionis Custodes restricting the Traditional Latin Mass (http://www.vatican.va/content/francesco/en/motu_proprio/documents/20210716-motu-proprio-traditionis-custodes.html), now belatedly recorded.

Despite being late for the 1 year anniversary of Traditionis Destructione, it's timely for those in New Jersey. The Diocese of Metuchen, whose first bishop was Ol' Ted himself, just shut it down in one of the parishes there.
Am not a musician, but the key this is sung in is perfectly suited for the dour tone of that most dreaded document.
De profundis clamavi ad Te, Domine; Domine, exaudi vocem meam!
Day of judgement. Day of wrath. May we be prepared for what is yet to come.
Brilliant! The dolorous Dies Irae chant suits the tone of the lamentable behaviour of the dictat T C
Magnificently done! Thank you.
The old novels re the underground church are now live in our day. So few people to trust just like in those tales.
Do you have the chant notation with this text set to it? Would make an excellent means peaceful protest outside of chanceries.
Brilliant!
Bravo. Sad, but true.
Hey! Are you the one who runs the Hildegard von Blingen' channel?
Another brilliant piece of work, bravo!
