What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for Youtube, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. I do at least two videos everyday of mainly tutorials, let’s plays and general gameplay footage. Thanks for watching my videos.

This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

  1. @Kage848 Explore locations. Hit M(map) or in tablet under radar. zoom out with mouse wheel as far as you can and you can see the locations you can explore/search. Just keep traveling off the edge of the map to open a new zone/region.
Also you can increase the power and water coming into your building in the stand at the side of the pathway. If you are not producing enough water from 1 well then you probably have dust on your wells solar panel it should be producing atleast 6 liters of water per daylight hour. Clean it off with the compressor. The incubator needs .70 Electricity and 2.00 water when full of seeds. The plant bed needs 1.30 Electricity and 3.60 Water.

  2. 1) At 11:37 while in the capsule while in the raw material inventory screen, you have 4 circuit boards (one shows medium board) stored in there. You will be needing them and you don't want to forget you have some.

    2) You can upgrade you pump to make oxygen to use in your building. It will also require an oxygen tank.

    3) You can add a water tank to you pump to increase amount of water stored. You can also upgrade the amount of water produced by adding addition power.

    4) Put you raw food in the refrigerator. It will keep longer. You only need to take MRE's for food with you.

  3. @kage beetroot gives better nutrition than potatoes FYI. Combine multiple potatoes or beetroots in the seed machine to increase the seed bonus and grow bonus, these allow the plants to grow faster and produce more seeds per fruit.

Empty magazines throw in the garbage can buy the computer.

Get more water in the building by adding a pump station to the water line. There are 3 inputs, they are different colors but they will turn blue when you hook up water to them. You can also put multiple pumps in a row to increase the number of lines you run. Then just run 1 lines from the blue output of the pump to your warehouse.

Another option is to add another warehouse to that one, which creates another input for water and electricity. You will need the room anyways for workbenches soon.

  4. Have you considered adding another hydroponics bed? I get it, the water supply is an issue. But, what you can do is build 3 well's and then switch the line every day. Eventually, you'll need (at least) 3 wells anyways, since that's how you get not only water, but methane and oxygen.

  5. Kage, if you didn't know you can pin a blueprint recipe to the on screen hud, simply open blueprints "B" then right click the blueprint and it'll be semi transparent on the right of your hud, finding this helped me out quite a bit

  6. Hello Kage. This is a repost I made for the day three but it still might help if you see it. Pro tip: quick double left click to put items on the ground directly into your inventory(single click will leave you holding the item in your hands). Plants: the circle is the "hit" points, the percentage is growth. You want to get to 50% in the incubator before repotting them to the hydro shelf(this will give you a harvest bonus). You will have to move one plant at a time until you get the plant crate(or you will have to dig them out of your inventory to you hot bar to move them). For crafting stations that you are not using: It is best when first starting to tear them down when you are not using them to conserve enegery(ie: workbenches, food machine, seed machine)(just keep mats to build them when you need). Food machine: split and use all four slots to get the higest nutrition value per MRE. Seed machine: its a process of making seeds or seeds that grow faster and yeild more seeds. You have to split them in the control screen to get the items in both boxes to get the bonuses. It is best to rotate crops between food and seeds to build up your genitics. From what I can tell the genitic modification does not effect the nutrition(it might be different but my expierence here is from the playtest) so make your lowest genitically improved items into food if you need. Beatroot gives better nutrition. You can drop items in the trash can to delete it. Good Luck.

  8. 12:00 -base solar output is 5kw which is what the ATV requires. When you unlock better solar collection it’s better to link all panels into your battery via transformers, then split the battery output via a second transformer to charge you ATV/pumps/buildings.

12:45 -if you press ‘m’ to pull up the map and select the electricity icon on the left of the map you can mouse over your structures to see their power demands/supply. You can also view water and oxygen needs from here as well.

21:58 -empty magazines and other trash can be dropped into the trash can beside the terminal in your workshop. It’s not very intuitive, but if you drop the item on the ground, then pick it up into your hand (not into your inventory), and right click to drop while standing over the trash bin, the item despawns once it enters the bin. Or if you’re a degenerate, you could just drop it on the ground outside like a Martian litter bug.

Tip for exploring- before leaving build a survival pod, water pump, solar panel, and connect it all up with wire. Once those are built outside your base, stash everything you don’t need in the fridge or your 3d printer’s inventory. Keep a little food on you, as well as any helmet repair kits you have since you’re probably going to crash your ATV a few times. Then go deconstruct the survival pod/pump/solar panel to get those resources back into your inventory (make sure to pick up the cables too), and you’re ready to head out.

On the map there are small white dots that indicate water ice for your pump. Plan to end your day near one of these to refill water and set up your pod to sleep overnight.

I recommend just looting abandoned bases for tablets and food, then moving on. Tablets are your real bottleneck to progression and the basic grinder is very slow. Wait to unlock the grinder upgrades before investing time into tearing down buildings.

  9. Solar + battery + well = runs all night ( expander later } as well no withering. You will need to do that anyway as your base gets bigger. Too the left of the control panel there's a bin drop what you don't won't into it.

  10. Hey Kage……also Upgrade the jackhammer and grinder ASAP on the repair bench…this allows much Faster looting of scrap and rocks….And allows you to grind the units outside other bases
