One of these videos popped up on my recommendations so I bought the game because I do enjoy survival games. It is a fun little hidden gem
Yes the bench research carries over. And also the blueprints learned will be shared in multi player. Now game settings would have to be tested on how much sharing goes on.
Two floor higher ceilings for hanging lantern light might make cool lighting. One floor hanging lantern so low cannot walk under it.
Storage racks.
KAGE….swim down around the Mansion and District 43 to find the RED ALGE ….you can also find Scallops here….Great loot at the Village plus Red Alge…found near the water tower sticking out of the water….more help to come !!!
Kage the assaults will go for foundations and will destroy chests/crafting stations above. They attack the outer-most blocks so I have a second layer of foundations/walls as a cushion for assaults. I also have one foundation out in the middle of my base with a ladder so I can swim in with no issues. Love the play through Kage!
Guys on the top floor seem trapped there. Sure that is something that will get a fix.

The best item for regaining your health imo is the pills. I found mines at the trader. Just not alot. 1 pill refilled my entire health bar from a quarter health. I just started today, thanks for bringing this to us Kage
Pro tip I found, there are no ranged weapons to use in water that I have found yet besides throwing a spear, but if you jump in the water and float at the top you can fire downwards, took out 5 sharks in no time with that method.
Food gives you health back. Marlin pieces seem to give most. also the red kelp food recipe is just a health regen. but i havn't seen that much yet.
just a heads up Kage the sailboat moves up to around 80-120 km/ph depending on the wind faster then the pedal boat, also the crate is bigger in the sail boat then the pedal 😉
The sailboat is WORTH IT. Bigger storage, almost double the speed, more agility, and it's not super loud like the paddle boat.
Iron is under water u have to swim by rocks until u get a pick ax symbol

Police station has good loot of kevlar broken weapons and armor and few different ammo. is deep and hard unless have the underwater vehicle thingy. buy a battery or 2 for it also
Man this game looks so good from your play through that I bought it but apparently I’m not allowed to play it because every time I load the game the screen goes black and I can’t see anything so I hope my $16 goes to good use because apparently I am not allowed to play the game
Kage, HEALING; the canfood gives u also 50 health back. So can b used as healing too. The RED ALG is rare, but can be found a lot around islands,under water. Also IRON; that first island u went too, (small rock island?) Has iron nodes.
Your gameplay(s) has gotten so bad that I have to buy all the games you play and play them myself.
Your building sucks. Looting sucks. Menu-looking and understanding what they mean sucks. Understanding the games sucks (doesn't know/see the difference between a marlin and a shark). Don't see loot right in front of you. Don't understand what's the most important things to make/build first etc.

It seems like you don't have time to play games as they "should be played" and by rushing, you forget many things and don't take time to read what the game(s) is about.
I wan't to unsub and move on to other YouTuber's, but since I've been her for so long, it feels wrong to do so. But in the end, we wan't good content and get tired of screaming at the screen every time you "skip" important things to progress in the games you play.
So… just wanted you to know what I and all the rest of the downvoters probably think, but never comment or say their opinions about.
Sorry for the rant, but I hope you read this as a constructive and positive feedback, so you grow even more in subscribers and viewers.

Be careful when you start raiding hostile islands. The enemies glitch inside of trees and will shoot you to death quickly since your bullets can only hit the tree. Swimming cross map to get your stuff back is real annoying. Also feel free to upgrade to the motorboat. You end up with heaps of gasoline from scrapping cars. Same goes for scrap metal, cloth and rubber. By mid game you’ll have boxes filled with each if you keep diving the ruins. The motorboat is also really fuel efficient so it a fantastic upgrade.
each underwater location seems to be built upon a raised rock, if you swim around the outskirts of that rock thats where i tend to find most of my red algee and iron ore

Can you build on the rock in the middle of the starter island? Seems like a good spot for defense if you get attacked…
A speargun . a Harpoon gun is for bigger fish i think like sharks or Wales or maybe deep sea fish
I built my base on top of the trader, the attackers cant seem to figure out how to get up and just shoot arrows from the water. I just pick them off one at a time then jump in and spear them from underwater.
IM SUPRISED THAT YOU DIDNT BUILD A BASE LIKE THE TRADER, MORE VISIBLE TO GET THE NASTIES THAT ATTACK, JUST A THOUGHT

I enjoy watching his videos during the day as my friends and I have a world we're playing in the evenings. I learn from him/his mistakes. My buddy ran face first into the mutants who shot arrows at him. He had NO clue they even had weapons 😂

You don't build with poles in rust anymore
fyi they have stuff you can put on the foundation that basically hides the floor so if you have foundation going in different directions it will make it all the same

Build on a rock close to surface and get anything you can and store it later stack chests if can make an area for work then food then storage then a just junk drawer kinda area maybe even have a bunch of fish traps
Use sleeping lose hunger and thirst but gain health
If you die, you only lose what’s in your inventory not in your hot bar. They don’t take your loot that’s dropped. Your loot bag will be waiting for you to come back and collect.
Kage you should get a gun
The only thing that triggers me more than the floors lining up is watch kage waste 10 minutes messing with them.
Just place them and move on. Please please please 🙏 😂

Bought this game because of you, been loving it. Haven't made it all the way through the video yet, but headshots definitely count for triple damage. I was doing over 150 damage with careful headshots. Also, you cn't use the crossbow under water, but you can swim and use it on the surface.
How can you build metal on water and have it float? That's dumb. They should make you have to build an air bladder, or put 50 gallon drums, or pillars from the sea bed below the foundations.
You go to the wrong side of the boat every freakin' time. I've pretty much decided you are doing it on purpose.
I used to swim every day. I cannot watch this without thinking you'd be in for a bad case of swimmer's ear, especially with those deep dives! The Research bench oughtta have an option for Ear Plugs! =^[.]^=
