What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for Youtube, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. I do at least two videos everyday of mainly tutorials, let’s plays and general gameplay footage. Thanks for watching my videos.

This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

  1. Been a while since I played, but once you have the ability to craft a hammer, I'd do so. The reason for that is it swings slower, allowing you to time your attacks easier, and it hits *hard*.

  2. new to game but played a fair bit now, havent seen a bow only an armor set with move speed and roll cooldown which im hoping will help with the deer as they annoy me so much trying to catch them haha, why cant we just lob rocks at them! pls do more of this series!

  3. Kage, you can also kill Rabbits by dropping trees on them. They don't have that many hitpoints, so, rather than dodging, weaving, and rolling to actually swing a sword at them, chop a tree down in the direction to make it land on them. If the rabbit is not aware of you, it'll probably sit still…

One only gets a single piece of rawhide from a rabbit, but it may be easier to kill 9 rabbits (to become 3 pieces of leather), than catch and kill 3 deer. The deer are fast enough to dodge the trees to some degree and have enough more hitpoints than a rabbit, so they can survive a single tree hit.

Additionally, in the dungeons, you can find Stone Piles with Coal and Metal Shards in them. You can use the Metal Shards to upgrade your Workbench, and then build an Anvil. At the Anvil, with enough Metal Shards, you can upgrade your weapons and tools (Sword, Axe, and Pickaxe)…

As for getting mobbed near a Spawner, draw off a few to reduce the numbers to a minimum, go after the Spawner, first, to keep the quantity of enemy attackers down, then finish off the remaining attackers. Be prepared to run away, heal, and come back. That's about the best way to do it. I'd highly recommend upgrading your weapons as mentioned above. Swords have the fastest attack rate, and, by improving them, you can increase your damage per strike. Axes and Pickaxes do more damage per strike, but are significantly slower and results in a lower DPM…

  4. Kage, your best bet to make gold is to buy the fishing rod for 5 gold, fishing is easy and you can make a decent income selling everything you catch, alternatively, since i know you like farming, you can build grow beds once you've upgraded your workbench to level 2 and sell stuff you grow, I grew roses and marigolds at first as they sell for 1 gold each, and each plot can hold 9 seeds. each plot is 20 wood and a bit of clay I think so not hard to make.

when in the mines or dungeon, hover over rocks with your cursor when standing still, you can see what is coal/iron/etc

weapons and tools have to be in your hot bar to use them

as others have said, you need to actually put any armour you get into the correct slots on your character

Make a boat and go exploring 😉
