I read canteen allows drinking too (maybe there's a machine you can build?), but also read it allows recharging suit, and I did see a blue power port in your canteen. Maybe people mixing up the two. Wait, unless that isn't a power port, maybe it's a water port.
If you haven't figured it out, the container for the rover is where you put materials to supply the welder on the rover. The ideal is to use select the building and let the printer print the materials and then transfer said materials into the container. Then you can use the rover's welder to weld buildings for you. You still have to do your usual to put the building in place though. PS. You can drop the trailer addon where ever you want. Just press 'T.' That will drop and pick up any trailers left about.
I'm wondering if the tower you built at the end will tie into the rover remote control range ? And maybe same goes for the flying drone?
This is BY FAR, my second favorite series you have done (the first is 7dtd, of course). Now, if you'd just do a Skyrim, let's play .. 🤔
The blue port next to the doorway in the canteen lets you recharge… You need the crapper to drink
@12:50 you can even collect rocks with the remote and antenna for range

I cant understand why you would not build the Hanger??? It gives you all kinds of neat sh.t ! The hanger also provides outlets for recharging suit and vehicles.
Hey KAGE !!!!……you Should Keep the printer inside the workshop because the one on the Crusher IS limited…..Definitely want to put AIRLOCKS entering the domes so they hold their OWN oxygen and pressure……Leave spaces because there's going to be More benches and things in future….you're Killing it tho…Great job Kage !!!!

you know the usual way I do things
Canteen for Power outlet, Bathroom for Water, Co2 Scrubber for oxy refills. This is currently how get refills in your base.
The extra suit batteries need to be charged first. Just swap it like a bottle and charge at the outlet at the canteen door.

From my experience, If you unhook a container trailer and grind it up, you get a small circuit board. This gives you the ability to essentially print a small circuit board in a pinch. Let me know if this works for any of you.
Water is from the bathroom sink you know the good stuff lol
That area is where you can control your rover or drones even if your very far away.
If you want to have some silly fun, get the rocket booster for the ATV and use it while driving up the smaller grinder. Just save your game first. It'll make for a good laugh though.

@Kage848 – The canteen has a power charge port next to the doorway.
The bathroom capsule has a sink to replenish your water and you use the toilet everyday.
Collect the waste from the toilet (little compartment on the right) and put in the composter in your greenhouse to create fertilizer.
The living area capsule has a bed. You have you use the capsule adapters to connect the living area and the bathroom to corridors.
There are tree seeds you can find to plant in the domes. The growing plants in your base help create oxygen.
The farther away you travel, the more different seeds you find. Got at least 12km+ away to find tree seeds, tomatoes, corn, etc.
The antennas (the green circle on your map) is the range of your remote control for the rover. In theory, you can print modules, store with container attached, and build whole bases with your rover with the welder attachment. For example, will be the kilowatt tower. It gives off radiation so you don't want to be near it. Remember the tutorial? Had to fix it outside of the base but it hurt you as you got close. I don't think all of that is implemented in the game yet.
If you want to get good thumbnails, try using the jetpack.
Just be very careful with it though, I've won multiple Darwin awards with it…
In my experience, the drone ain't that great, but maybe I've just not tried it enough.
Also there seems to be a dupe trick for container trailers on the big rock crusher. If you drag and drop a container on top of the attached tipper, you will lose the tipper, but the container symbol stays and you can drag container after container into the inventory. You will have to reprint your tipper though, but it's much cheaper than duping a bunch of container trailers.
i believe the green range on the radar is your remote control range, but i'm not 100% on that.
canteen is only worth it for the power plug. you can charge your suit its beside the one door at the end.
When placing the hangar, it will take some trial and error to get the large door to open correctly. The gantry crane panel is not yet accessible.
The panels are for when your base gets destroyed by meteors and you use it to replace the panels.
You are right regarding the bathroom:
In the bathroom you can drink (refill you equipped water bottle); you can also produce bio waste there, which you can turn into fertilizer in the greenhouse
In the canteen you can recharge your (equipped) suit battery (the blue power port next to where you enter the canteen)
You can build base buildings with the rover:
In the big crusher, print a building
Move the building pieces to the container on your rover (either put the container back in the crusher for easier moving the parts, or take the parts from the printer and manually put them in the container)
Put down the ghost image
Use the welder on your rover to build the base building (it uses the pieces from the container)
The antenna allows you to 'manage' your building remote
On your tablet, on the map, you can click base parts to power them on/off (showing green/red on the map)
When you place another antenna within the solid circle projected on the map by your other antenna, they can communicate with one another
Supposedly you can teleport (your rover, not sure about yourself) between big crushers, provided the crushers are connected to the same antenna network
You can combine this teleport with remote-controlling your rover, so you can mine distant ores from the comfort of your base (or you drive over there, either via the remote, or in person)
The antenna might also increase the range on the drone, but that's something I haven't tested yet.
That radiation panel you printed, you can't manually place it.
I haven't found a proper use for it yet; except maybe use it in the big crusher as parts for corridors / airlocks
But I reckon other people will have found out already 🙂

Antenna are used for increasing the range of the controller while in it, also if you have the tech you click a building on the map a turn the fuses on or off while away if you are still n the antenna range

That was an amazing episode – total eye opener for me. I am on Sol 215 and had now idea about many of those things you did. Hats off to you!!
The antenna apparently is used with the drones and remotely controlled vehicles – I presume to give them a signal boost and allow them to be guided further. It does not make the map terrain more visible but it does put these green circles all over the map to denote signal coverage. At my various “refuelling stations” I now include an antenna with the well, oxygen tank and excess power. So I now have a map with numerous dark green circles. You don’t see any more detail in them though so it is not an opening up the “fog of war” type of thing.
Their are 2 more attachments for the Rover trailer, one is a Tank, and the other is a Multi tank,( not sure if they are in the game yet). To get water you need the bathroom, it is also where you get Fertilizer for the composter. The Canteen is where you can recharge your suit, the power plug is next to the door, as for the rest of the placeables, you have to go to the Large Rock Crusher and build the accessories from there. From the Rock Crusher you build tables, chairs, desks, and other things. Other things you may wish to put in there are the food maker, and fridge. Have a Great one!!!

Tip you're going to love.
DO NOT explore in 3rd person when trying to collect items from Points of Interest. Use first person when moving from location to location.
Why? Doing 3rd person exploring is what causes items to spawn below surfaces. Every time you reload to fix this it resets the Random generator which isn't really random.
You won't have to travel 10+ km from base to find every seed type. Seeds can be in Any POI. At about 1 hour 2 tops of exploring if you're not grinding things down you should have plenty of tablets and seeds.
Only one tablet per POI confirmed by devs. The people that have found 2 tablets didn't realize that they were actually at 2 POIs right next to each other.
