What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for Youtube, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. I do at least two videos everyday of mainly tutorials, let’s plays and general gameplay footage. Thanks for watching my videos.

This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

  1. One other thing id reccomend is to pick a spot near u base just for u solar panals as u can keep adding more nd more upgrade add-ons to u transformer and batteries so u can solidate them all in one spot near u base then just use a single cable to take the power from the battery to your base so u got more space for expantion without havin to worry about them getting in the way

  2. Maybe work shop is the oxygen tank so you could hook it up with the auction hose and hook you up with the big Rover rig that's what or you can keep on refilling the bottles and place them back in the rig.

  3. You can take your helmet off in the main building because even if you forget to put your helmet on when you go to leave the building the outside door wont open until you put your helmet on

  4. Survival shelter has the O2 refill just make it when your out and just make sure you get power needs 5. To refill the rover you want to have wells out about on different areas so you can refill both air and water. If you make it with both O2 tanks you can later hook up the rover to tanks to refill it.

  5. At 32:33 when you jumped in the rover seat to see about the O2. In the lower left hand corner where it shows the stats of the building/vehicle, the O2 had green arrows flowing. Is thats the way the game shows you that you that O2 is pumping in?

  6. My Rover didnt come with the tipper. I had to build the large crusher to print the tipper out. Basically made the rover half a useful until i got it. now im getting tons of ore vs small amounts.

  7. The best way I find to get my oxygen back on the road is to build the survival pod. Then make a small solar panel to power it. You can refill your oxygen tanks. To refill the rover with oxygen you have to build a well and then the well extension and place an oxygen tank on it. It will also need 10kw of power so another panel, but it will fill it up pretty slow, so I just use my suit oxygen and then refill my bottles on the survival pods. I litter the map with a well, a pod and a panel. That lets me replenish everything and I carry a bunch of food. Quick tip, make sure to ALWAYS carry electric and water cables on the rover. You will need that on the road and are unable to make it witout a building and 3d printer.

  8. For the getting points for materials, I’ve found that building structures and using the 3D Printer helped me to get my points in the Materials tree. I did a fair amount of mining rocks and also exploring abandoned bases grinding everything I could.

  9. The game won't let you leave your base if you take off your helmet. Also for the oxygen for the rover you need the well upgrade which is from a blueprint. Don't forget you can lower buildings by pressing the arrow keys.

  10. usually machine diferentials dont lock both of the parts ( wheels on these case) so you lock it to get both wheels on the diferentials to spin ( cars and trucks have a similar system)

if this is a good sim when you lock the diff you will waste more energy and also, it would be harder to park and take corners ( since unlocking the diff help you turn better, thats why in real life it is more used in racing and hard/extreme activities than regular cars for common people to drive and park)

  11. @Kage848 – I've been playing this for a while now and now am looking at this game differently. I've been treating it now kind of like Valheim. Up to the point you are at now, it was about improving your character and survival. Once you have the new solar panels, large rover, and GrinderIII, I think it's more about gathering resources and building a great base. Would love to see you use the rover and grinder and everything to build a great over-the-top base!

  12. One more, maybe two things. The external pressure warning is prolly a bug. That's what's being said about it. I originally thought it was talking about the barometric pressure outside. Like low pressure means bad weather is coming.
The other is I'm pretty sure you can look at the map rrom the cockpit of the rover I just don't remember how.

  13. You're not missing anything apparently, right now, campaign mode is like setting the game to the highest difficulty.
The two other channels I saw doing a playthru both trash the campaign and restarted on a freeplay setting.
One of the settings you START with a rover.
That's how those two are doing it
They are way way ahead of you just not as entertaining as you and they don't seem to read comments much. 👍

  14. Wow, I kust can't shut up 😂😂😂
Question mark means there IS a tablet there. No question mark means there MIGHT be a tablet
Also you need an o2 tank for the well and if you click on where it says methane or oxygen it will cycle thru the types of tanks so you can put two O2s or two methane or one of each etc.

  15. @Kage848 – Lock differential means you lock the pivot point (and engage all wheel drive) at the middle of the rover, that way you only turn with the front set of wheels. Gives more stability for open terrain movement but requires more turn radius.

  16. In grinding I don’t waste my time with little stuff in a base. Grind up solar panels and wells and big stuff outside, loot base and off to next one. Maybe big desks but not the little stuff, it just takes too much time. Once you get grinder 3 with low bases I’ll walk up grind the base then just pick up the loot that falls.

If you zoom into the map you can see a little tiny symbol that’s water. Its faint white marker.

The easiest way by far to refil O2 bottles is to build a Survival Pod and give it a small solar panel to run on… it only needs 5 kw/h and it will do everything your drop pod did. It even has it's own built-in 3d printer.

Or you can create lots of O2 [Oxygen] by upgrading the well one time and then slapping an Oxygen tank on it.
This option isn't the cheapest but it is the best way to make and store large quantities of it.
