Crew 26 – Lands on Mars to begins the next rotation in our journey to colonize the red plant. The Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) is an analog Martian Base that is used by researchers to study how Martianauts can live and thrive on the red planet. The MDRS base located in Hanskville, UT, includes two-story habitat, a greenhouse, solar-related Musk Observatory, robotic observatory, engineering pod, and science building. The MDRS is sponsored by the Mars Society and has been in operation since 2001
