David Lynch Dead at 78

Celebrated director David Lynch has died. He was 78. David’s family announced his death in a tribute on Facebook. His loved ones write, ‘There’s a big hole in the world now that he’s no longer with us. But, as he would say, ‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.” No cause of death details were shared, but David revealed his emphysema diagnosis last year. The co-creator of TV’s ‘Twin Peaks’ and the filmmaker behind ‘Blue Velvet,’ ‘Mulholland Drive’ and many others, David was best-known for his uncompromising vision on the big and small screen.

  1. I hate that you used the Sirius Canada clip where they “revealed” that lynch had passed away and had the nerve to ask the cast if “anyone had worked with him” knowing well enough that Patrica Arquette worked with him on Lost Highway giving her no time to grieve and putting her directly on the spot. It’s disgusting. You shouldn’t be running that clip either.

  2. I must admit although I knew his name I thought David Lynch was English and from looking at him as a gray haired gent I expected a deep, urbane voice like Ian McKellan or someone. I was surprised to hear such a high pitched nasal voice coming from him.

  3. Some people dabble in art and some people live it. As if it's ingrained in them. Like it’s their raison d'être. They breathe it. They wake up in its embrace every goddamn day.
That was the category David Lynch was in. He was a real fucking artist.
    RIP 🙏🏾
