Dave Chappelle Will Never Stop | Hasanabi Reacts to Patrick Cc:

Hasan reacts to a great video covering Dave Chapelle’s glory days and his subsequent fall from grace as he became a much more polarizing figure!

(Yes, right now it’s just me making everything)

Editor’s Note: My edits were all made to keep the video on one, central topic by editing together relevant commentary from many parts of Hasan’s streams to create a storyline that is still followable by the viewer. I also edited in commentary of my own in places, in addition to relevant external information that improves the viewing experience. A lot of edits were made for comedy purposes, or to enhance the comedic timing of certain beats, but never to misrepresent Hasan’s point of view.

If you like my edits, leave a Comment, Like, and Subscribe. It helps a lot, thank you 🙂

  1. I have to call you out here… you firmly stated that the "Cancel Chappelle" movement didnt exist. It most certainly did. He was attacked. Every single Trans employee of Netflix threatened to walk out, unless either A.) His contract was terminated and his work withdrawn, or B.) Netflix spend an equal amount of money on Trans-centered entertainment. As if thats how money has ever worked. If Netflix spent $100m on a show that doesnt even have a script yet, for the sake of appealing to such a small demo (no offense), basically means both A) and B) were demands that Netflix burn tens of millions of dollars as punishment for allowing Dave to say what he did.

I also think that the Daphne story being overlooked every time this issue is brought up is kinda gross. Any other situation and you KNOW the entire left including you and I would be blaming whatever RWer made her feel a certain way.

I dont think Dave is using his dead friend to garner sympathy. I think he's a boomer comic who doesn't understand the world of social media, and should just stop looking at what people say about him on Twitter. I think hes a guy who fought his way through hell, althewhile making edgy jokes about every single group except this one. Of course his boomer mind is blown. Its no different from your uncle not discovering that TV news lies until he's 50 years old, and believing everything he reads online.

The real problem I have with Dave is that, regardless of the topic, he's just too preachy. Make me laugh. You're the best at it. So do that.

  2. How did people who watched The Closer walk away thinking Dave was anti anything other than Anti Isreal. I really think people don’t understand what he’s saying in his stories comparing lgbt to civil rights movement. It’s like they only hear him making fun, which is his job. People don’t listen.

  4. You'd think I'd like Chapelle. But I don't because he is no longer a comedian. He is a lecturer, same as Carlin. They don't tell jokes, they just lecture you like a professor with tenure and charisma.

  5. Lol it's funny when trans people act like they are oppressed. Trans are the most privileged goup of people in the west. If trans people stopped trying to force their views on everyone then this wouldn't be a problem.

  6. Dave makes me nervous because I grew up in Yellow Springs and I'm trans. I've been on the local news too. It is also common knowledge that I'm trans and is usually the first thing brought up no matter what. This was before I moved away and Dave went full TERF. I've wondered if his transphobia was influenced by my existence being made a little local spectacle in local news. When I visit, I get nervous about running into him at Kroger or when I'm catching up with childhood friends.

  7. As someone who is from the yellow springs area, all the locals around here used to love him. He was genuinely one of the most friendly and accepting people ever. He was always at the bars and would make friends with anyone. It's really surprising to see how much he has changed. Most of us would've never expected this.

  8. The Closer was the end of it for me. I didn’t think his trans jokes were too far before that, I thought he seemed old and out of touch but he kept reiterating that he respected all people or whatever and a lot of those jokes were more about black people in relation to trans people. But The Closer was too fucking far for sure. He was disrespectful to trans people and he just lied about everything with JK Rowling. He doesn’t consider black trans people at all, the most marginalized group in America. I think he doesn’t want to admit anyone is more marginalized than straight black men. But it makes sense, move to a 3000 person town in Ohio for a decade and a half and you’ll be out of touch 🤷🏻‍♂️

  9. Either consciously or non- Dave is being against trans for the convenience and the side effect of lowering his likeability for the masses, decreasing his effective fame..
just a high thought on this
