  1. I mean, i do 100% respect your opinion but it's kinda invalid tbh. If you stopped playing OW,4 years ago, that means 1) you don't know the state of ow1 NOW, and more importantly means that this game is just not your style and THAT'S FINE. I played every day at least 4 quick play games since 2017. It's in fact the only MP game that i'm playing for the last 3-4 years. So i do love this game but man.. 5v5 is just killing their identity. I'm still playing the beta hoping people will adapt and suddenly the game will be super fun for everyone but I dont know man, only DPS is fun now.

  2. If the most noteable change is removing a single player from the teams then this is just sad. I played overwatch way back as well, i think the last time i played was i think when they just added ashe because the game was so repetitive and mind numbingly boring that i gave my copy to good will. Looking at this gameplay it's literally barely different from overwatch one so much so that I thought you were putting up overwatch 1 gameplay instead. All this video did was reconfirm i was right to drop the game because all their doing is releasing a large update package and throwing a price tag on it. Still such a waste that such an amazing concept and game is just continuing to be squandered by mediocrity.

  3. Ehhh take this vid with a huge grain of salt bois. Datto you started your video telling me why you have no idea what your talking about. My peak in OW is 4367 so you could say my game knowledge is pretty good. Stick to destiny until you know what you dont know my dude love ur content there. EDIT: Sorry I dont mean to be rude but it was like a 1st grade student trying to explain gravity, they kinda get it "big thing suck in small thing" but they really have no idea of the larger forces at play.

  4. Flanks happen more, not only because of the current balancing of DPS heroes and the way they are all encouraged to flank, but also due to the fact that 10 people occupy a much smaller area in a given time than 12 people.

  5. I was personally expecting more sweeping balance changes across the board sort of what they did with Soldier and Sombra. Either a few small changes to balance, or a kit updated characters needed. I fully expected more nerfs than we got, Blizzard still picking on tanks because god forbid everything not feel like DPS with extra steps. Junkrat still does an insane amount of damage on what is effectively a missed shot, Mei feels less shitty to fight I guess, tank busters (Bastion, Sym, etc) have even less opposition now, meaning that the guys meant to do big damage to tanks and shields can just bully people who think about getting bold. That being said various kit changes, Bastion, Sombra and the like, CC being toned down, are all good changes.

Also what the fuck is with Orisa? They said her old kit didn't match her design but they designed her to be a big horse that stops you. Oh and what the fuck is with new personalities and like readings? Edgy characters got edgier, and peppy characters got peppier and it's not good. Especially Mercy's new tone.

  6. I actually really appreciate removing the 2CP gamemode. TBH I was having a blast playing as a 5 stack with my friends, which is the way Overwatch is intended to be played. Playing solo on the other hand seems to be just as frustrating as in the original game. Having an Orisa run you down without teammates to help and shield for you is just frustrating. I think OW2 is great in a communicative 'team' environment but has the same issues regarding toxicity and frustration as the original title.

  7. Overwatch: The pay again sequel.

I don't care much about nothing having changed. I'm annoyed they needed to force us to pay again for … what… a new character and a couple maps? Just charge me for the DLC. dumb.

  8. Can’t convince me it wasn’t idiotic for them to cut a tank rather than support for the supposed best team comp for the new 5v5. It’s impossible to find even one random that’ll play support in 99% of our QP and Comp playlists. My 3 stack has too exclusively play tanks or supports.

  9. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be an update of Overwatch 1. That’s why people access the beta from the Overwatch 1 launcher. It’s pretty much going to do the the same that Destiny does whenever it gets a new expansion, just to a much larger extent.

  10. We are back to OW1 were hitscan characters were the best untill heavy loaded ability characters got added and turned the game from a Arena shooter with MOBA elements to a MOBA with Arena Shooter elements

  11. I love that you formed your own opinion and not just regurgitated the "it looks just like overwatch 1" take everybody seem so eager to spread.
Also you are one of the few who mention that it's free for ow1 owners (bonus that all cosmetics carry over to the new game).
For me this is just a more refined version of overwatch that lean more in to individual skill and carry potential, which is great. That said i feel that 2 years of content drought for the live game was a major misstep for actiblizz, and i really hope it's not to late for ow to catch up with the competition after all this time.

  12. the fact that you literally just said out loud 'winston never felt like main tank material' tells me you are not qualified to be giving an opinion on the balancing and evolution of this game. not even a little bit.

  13. It's funny, you talk about this beta like it 's finished product and all the reworks are in it already. That's not true.
You only got portion of the reworks, few new maps and new game mode. This beta is to give developers data on how 5v5 works and how to adjust the chars dmg etc.
It's not finished product at all yet.

Why people think that it's? I don't understand, don't people know what a BETA TEST means anymore?

  14. People were probably expecting it to feel more like a true sequel. More risks taken, many more maps and heroes, a significant visual upgrade and the promised PVE campaign. For me the only thing overwatch 2 is hitting in the expectations for a sequel is the campaign, but nobody has heard anything about it. You asked what are people's expectations. Deliver a sequel. Bigger, better, prettier and plenty more of everything. Not the same maps, heroes and a small face lift.

  15. haha like you already enter overwatch 2 beta and have an overview about it? I still on my way to get the key here, already wait for 10 years( actually 3 weeks and a half).

  16. I'm just confused on the pVe portion. They wanna charge and change the name for it but how good will it be. If it's just gonna be like the old arcade modes with level up progression then that's 100% not earning money from peoples wallet. Also dont see them turning it into diablo 3.
