  1. Darth Vader is definitely my favorite. Im a legends fan and have most every book and novel. I read them to my kids now, some of the new books have been ok but nothing close to legends. In the video-Some of the info is a little off and there are a few misinterpretation/assumptions but other than that its an alright video.

  2. I like the fact that he said u can play the video in the background while you’re cooking or whatever you’re doing because that is so true. Even though I love music I feel like I barely even use YouTube for music anymore I basically just watch videos like this while I’m doing whatever I’m doing

  3. Regarding the modern Sith refraining from obsessing over Sith artifacts, I would like to propose that Darth Vader and the Emperor had what the ancient Sith coveted: Power, over the galaxy. And the Emperor didn't let anyone know that he was a Force user, and concealed his identity as a Sith from the entire galaxy in order to maintain his control over it.

  4. Ok… I totally AND COMPLETELY, discount the "professionals" opinions. You don't get to psychologically diagnose anakin. Both on principal AND because you're not qualified.

I'm sorry, but you can't assign mental states WE are used to, to characters that 1) are fighting in a grand galactic conflict. The closest analogy we have is ww2, and frankly that doesn't even come close to the clone wars. 2) if something like the force existed, we would have a VERY different sense of societal morals and aspirations. You don't get to equate a primal force akin to gravity or magnetism to drug use… I'm sorry, that's BULLSHIT. That is NOT the same as "escaping reality." Does anyone really think accessing the dark side is ANYTHING like smoking pot? No? Didn't think so. Smart people are only smart in the circumstances that allow them to be. If you take a pride racing greyhound and expect it to swim like a fish, you'll be disappointed. Similarly, you take a psychiatrist from earth and stick them in a galaxy far far away…

  5. Even a medical professional can't accurately diagnose someone without treating them in person so the idea that Vader can be diagnosed based on the glimpses we see of his life is inherently faulty. It may be interesting as a thought exercise but I wouldn't put too much emphasis on it.

  6. The ROTS novelization of Anakin's transition into Vader is so powerful. So well written. Anakin/Vader is one of the most complex & well written characters ever created. Truly iconic.

  7. You think Vader had a switch that made his breathing silent? It always sounds like someone breathing on a microphone anyway… Maybe he was just leaning on the push to talk button the whole time

  8. Vader will always be special to me because as a young child he was the only villian in media that genuinely terrified me and made my heart race. I'll never forget being 3 and hearing that breathing for the first time, theres something so scary yet so vulnerable about Vader
