  2. For a epic one for us viewers and making fishing history. Staying ballsy 🤣:

A god tier podcast guest list with all the Korda team. A big one for a charity event. Just good things for all including us content viewers 👍
    Would be magic.
If I had to pick one, we couldn’t have him unfortunately 😢 God bless you John.
Guests would ideally include the likes of Terry Hearn, Gaz Fareham – to name a couple, and just other top top people to join in with you guys and girls 😊👍 Totally appreciate that it would be a monumental task in many ways, but just an idea. Mr Flint if I had to think of someone outside of fishing. Such a shame.

Maybe a event like annual team Korda expo? Propper Essex dnb set 😂 Podcast the interesting chats with the general audience. You guys take the time to stand there and talk to us. We’re very grateful, but you guys should be getting something back for it and something to help Korda hopefully, and us further down the line. These podcasts are properly like a modern day book. Most of the words are very valuable 😅
Us viewers can only pray 🙏 but that would be legendary to the world. It would proper inspire the people getting back into it and more importantly to the newcomers. Especially about the right ways to fish, how to behave around other anglers and fish safety/ care.
Anyways, that really would make history peeps.

Tom and Spoons, sorry for sounding like a bellend at the show haha you’ll rack your brains as there was a few of us I suspect 😂 You guys are legends. But honestly mate, I 100% knew that you was aware that the RX Digital were made by Fox 😂 and have been for many many years! Ha I’m so sorry I’m a muppet sometimes and that is t how I would want to come across. You was at Thorpe Lea at a carp show. Many moons ago mate. You checked over a set of SX Digitals (made by fox if you did t know 😄) You’ve been a top bloke for a long long time 😎👍

Dan thank you for your honest words. My bro and I will propper remember what a humble bloke you are. We were both listening and learning, very wise words 👍 Big respect for what you and the team are doing for the sport and supporting the people in and around it. Winners 👍
Top blokes, thank you all for what you all do. All the best and on behalf of the community, thank you all again 😊👍

  3. This is again a great podcast … you guys keep on doing these, and yes I loved the stuff with sir pete and ritchie Mc … but my favorite has to be Tom Stokes because he is a great guy and down to earth human (his laught is just mega) … but there a few more I realy like like with the sadly missed Chris Ball what knowledge. I love the old story's but there is a future aswell … and hope after 40 yeas carp fishing I can do it for another 40 … I just love it, well done to Korda for being the company they are and become (I have seen it grow) great stuff guys you can be very proud of it …

  4. Got to be one of the best pod casts I've watched. Just a room full of mates chewing the fat n having banter with each other 👌🏻. I'd personally definitely say more of this kind of stuff with 4 or 5 in the room I seem to zone out a little bit on certain ones when it's just one guest for 2 hours but this one had me fully engaged

  5. Great podcast. Love listening to these. Think be a great idea to release where they are blanking. Wish they were released more. Great insight into some of the best minds in the game. Young ler angler would be great to see on here.

  6. – Get Scott and Baz Lloyd on together.

    – Linear fisheries podcast on the history of the complex. Be some great stories from the bailiffs to share!

-Why not do a Korda and a GURU podcast combined? You asked for conflicting opinion and mentioned how much can be learned from GURU. Be great to get Godfrey and Rooney’s opinion VS Tom and Spooners….

  7. Sorry I’m a bit late but I would of really liked to ask Dan & Damian about fake baits (As they can harm the fish if ingested) I would like to see those banned personally for the welfare of the fish but as Korda manufacturer this bait – would the consider ceasing manufacture or producing a harmless alternative?

  8. A question that I'd like to ask is where do we see carp fishing videos being in 10 years? Fishing videos have changed format so much since their inception and it's no longer about just location, tactics and results. People get invested in stories and feeling as if they are along for ride. Could we see VR come into play where you feel as though you are sat on the bank watching a film?
Big congratulations on producing great tackle, great content and great community.

  9. Really enjoyed this one with the questions from the viewers. one of these every now and then would be great but love them all. I listen whilst driving rather than watching but this was the only way I knew to comment. we get it all with this podcast the funny, serious, educational and most of all you keep me awake (alive) while on long drives 😂😂 and now I look forward to long drives keep up the great work 👌

  10. How come certain people can slag bait boats off. But it’s ok to go out on a rowing boat with a echo. Prodding stick.scope . And drop a bait from a boat. Or mark it with a marker. And that’s ok! we’d all love to know exactly what we’re really fishing over. But it’s not always possible even with a bait boat. Bait boats are not all bad. Not that there is many lakes they can be used on. Agree finding spots with marker floats or even just a lead.casting and catching off it. Makes it great. Time and places as Danny said.

  11. For the future, can you discuss about changing your tactics, if the session is looking like your blanking, how subtle are the changes, how frequent are the changes, how drastic are the changes? This is aimed at those of us who blank a lot. Thanks

  12. I'm 46 so I'm an age where I don't need to buy braid anymore, I just hang it out a few weeks and harvest some ear hair instead.

It also means I remember starting off at a time where I saved for a nu-brolly, and silstar fx30 reels and dreamt of North western rods. Once I got to driving age, I'd cram a mini (old style) with a mate and our gear, head out to Essex lakes where we heard rumours of a mates mate catching a 16lber. Yeah, there were bigger fish about of course but at that time that's the sort of fish we dreamed of, having had our first 'double' and hitting big time. So, here goes, you young'uns really are lucky fishing for carp now and 40s all over the place. It would be like cars only doing 40mph then and 150mph noe to compare the change in carp sizes.

I watched korda grow as I worked in an Essex tackle shop and we bought korda leads out the back of an old Astra. Unreal the animal korda have become. A few years on it was topping up about 4 metres of product wall displayed with 'Arris swanning in poncing fags and us begging Spooner to come off 'stop' as we'd promise we had posted the cheque. Sometimes we actually had 😂. Little secret from then, Mr Dove even worked in my shop, about 3 weeks he lasted before 8am starts and not fishing Saturdays he bolted, but I'll never forget how he'd tell us about testing rigs by sucking them in in the bath and showed us holes in his lip from successes. Obsessed he was, with Awful awful hair, off he went to korda…not sure what happened to him after that.

A credit missed here is how much korda have upped the game, and made others follow suit. Not just the gear, even these podcasts it's all top notch, well done for pushing it on and on. Sorry if it sounds a bit fan boy, but credit where it's due, they've smashed it. It's the lads they have there behind the success. Another little story, Cleverly top lake, it used to shut down end Sept and not do a bite till March, every year. We had a little Feb shop social there and took the new boy Darrell peck with. Lake hadn't done a bite in 4 months odd, good anglers long given up. He had two that night, moving swim about 2am after about 10 stellas whilst the rest of us snored it off. He'd catch 1 carp in a hundred acres.

Won't tell the one about what happened at carp fest 2….

Another great podcast, keep em coming fellas. 👍
