On the HMMWV.. those pins were not IN.
You can attach one of your tow ropes to the ring on one of those pins and do a full send pull.. that ring will break before the pin comes out IF the pin is actually IN.
How would I know? 63B/63S/63J Army MOSs (plural of MOS).. those numbers being before they moved mechanics to 90something number.
