  1. Wait wait wait. You want older stuff but don't mention anything about Tron or Buzz. What's really the reason there is a problem with Encanto and Coco…

  2. Brought to you by the same big brains that steered the ship into the iceberg repeatedly. Universal will be bending Disney over with no grease, and they have nobody to blame but themselves. All the visionaries and competent leaders are G-O-N-E. Disney is the past.

  3. Yes to acknowledging the classic Disney films that everyone loves and creating more attractions around those! We need a Pocahontas attraction!
I had a feeling the Starcruiser was not going to do well. I thought they would try lowering the prices before totally closing it down though. It’s probably not worth it for them, better to close it down.

  4. Disney NEEDS a new park. Like at least one other comment pointed out, building a new park only brings in a small amount of new guests; however, it draws people from other parks, spreading them out. Thus, decreasing the crowding and increasing guest satisfaction.

  5. Disney has been working on refurbishing the GF for a year and a half and they are still not done. Universal will be done building Epic Universe before Disney is done freurbing a hotel . . Disney is cash strapped this is why the Galactic Star Loser closed , Lake Nona was canceled and content is being removed from Disney+ so Disney can scrape up enough money to buy HULU .Disney isn't going anywhere but they are a far cry from what they used to be .

  6. “We don’t talk about Encanto” should be the new slogan.

How about they make Epcot a theme that actually flows? It’s just IP hell and has no rhyme nor reason.

They need to treat it like Coca Cola when they released “Coke” and it bombed. Walt Disney Classic. EVERYBODY would drink that.

  7. There's a great deal of research and wisdom here today (IRS, attendance trends for the future for Epic Universe, etc.) I really enjoy watching this channel!

  8. The accelerated depreciation doesnt mean they can’t repurpose the property. They are impairing the asset but they can still use it. This tax effect is only one way to look at it. Accelerating depreciation has a direct effect on the net income and earnings per share. They’ll get a tax benefit but they get destroyed in terms of earnings per share which means way more for executives as they are they are compensated based on share performance not taxable income.

  9. Personally, I feel like Universal adding a 3rd gate will boost overall attendance in all of their parks simply because it puts them more on the same level as Disney as far as amount to do at the resort. I think having a 3rd park makes the resort more enticing. If I am going to Disney, I am getting to experience 4 parks where as currently Universal only has two. So if I am a park lover that has to choose, I am going to choose the resort with more to offer. However, I understand that money is a big factor, so of course Universal might be a better option due to there being less park days to pay for. But even if Epic Universe lowers attendance at the other parks, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Like mentioned earlier, that could be helpful from a park capacity standpoint which could improve quality of life for guests. Either way, I think the 3rd gate is going to pay off very well for Universal, and HOPEFULLY it can spark even more competition so both companies improve their parks to get guest attention.

  10. Where are you going to get the staff from, Josh? You've chased most of the park staff off to Universal, the buses are bleeding drivers to Academy, Lynx etc. and young people will follow their wallets to anywhere that offers them more money and less woke culture. It's almost got to the point where Traditions are going to need to include hand-to-hand combat training to be able to undertake "Audience Control" with some, but thankfully not all, of the "guests."

  11. I'm waiting till EPIC Universe opens to go to Florida, and I'll skip WDW's Studios park to fit in that EPIC day. (The WDW Studios have many e-tickets in common with Disneyland.)

  12. Blank D'Amaro. He’s just another puppet on the string of the liberal, leftist, woke, radical Monster that has ruined Disney World.
Our Family vacations to Florida will never again include disney. They’ve ruined Walt Disney’s dream and his daughters and the rest of their families should be ashamed of themselves.

  13. I am in agreement with you. The executives are making bad decisions when it comes to Galactic Starcruiser.

This was the best thing they've done in a very long time. I loved it so much I went 3 times, stayed in each of the 2 cabin designs, and always felt safe in the controlled environment. It was also the only place I have ever had sta wars character interactions. I've never had one in Galaxy’s Edge.

Pretty ridiculous to have all these changes happening when they are closing it. Again it shows the executives are making bad decisions

  14. Being in Texas I am looking forward to Universal studios opening the park here. It will not stop me from coming to their other parks. I will be making a trip once Epic Universe opens, and I will also go to their other parks for the things I love about them.
