A Dallas family is demanding answers after their mother fell into a sewage system and was discovered dead miles away. KXAS’ Meredith Yeomans reports.

This is the city's workers fault 100%. There should have been barriers around the open sewage hole. There is no way that a person can lift that cover because it is extremely heavy.

There obviously wasn’t enough protection or warning from the dangerous hole and someone or a company needs to be held accountable

I’d be absolutely furious too. This is a valid lawsuit that I hope prevails.

I can’t even imagine the terrifying moment the Mom felt.
I don’t understand how these tragedies happen.
A similar situation happened in the town I live in ,
A teenage boy was walking home during a severe rain storm at night.
He fell into an open storm drain.
I just can’t imagine.
