  1. WFAA, Loop 12 and Ledbetter Drive is the same thing. So, it shouldn't be "Loop 12 at Ledbetter Drive". The state of Texas (which owns it, since it's a state highway) should've turned Loop 12 into a regular street decades ago. It was built as the outer loop or beltway around Dallas. It is an old school country highway, that's why it's easy to speed and lacks sidewalks and a lot of traffic lights. The LBJ Loop — I-20 and I-635 replaced it in the 60s and 70s.
