I can't believe how big your seedlings are looking, and I think you're right about the tarps on the ground. I'm not sure how many other beneficials might be under there too,but your ladybug larvae are looking good. I'm about 4+ hours north, and I'm really concerned about the lack of any insects! There were no bees of any kind on the flower crab apples, or now my salvia too. Both should have been loaded with insects, but aren't
