Great report. However the discussion about Tesla "To advertise due to demand problem" is flawed and STUPID!!! Just STOP IT. THAT is not what the idea about marketing is at all, it is a scientifically proven way to drive more attention, interest, desire and action WITHOUT needing to lower prices – and advertising is the MOST EXPENSIVE tactic, next to lowering prices, so if Tesla just bothered to use the FREE/almost free ways to drive sales as SEO, PR, CRO, UX, remarketing/retargeting, Affiliate- and cloudbased referral marketing (50x better than just the link), and email marketing…….that will PRECLUDE/reduce needs to lower prices to drive sales to a high degree, until that "price segment" is saturated and prices MUST go lower, but that is what the Tiny Tesla is for or Tesla 2 or Tesla Tidal-wave or whatever it'll be called.

If I am looking at the correct blue line it looks like Rivian is now on Tesla’s pace despite starting out behind. That’s not bad given the rough economic conditions since 2020. Tesla had to face the 08 crash, but interest rates weren’t a head wind.
Update I think I mixed up Nio and Rivian on the chart, but the press I have been reading has been more positive for Rivian than Nio. I am also not sure about the fairness of the comparison or even what we are comparing here given the lack of chart units.
Are these discounts on top of discounts for Mercedes or just total discount? The number of unchanged discounts make it seem to be the latter to me.
Wow that graph at the end really shows how much faster BYD is growing than Tesla. I wonder if their CEO is as antagonistic to his main customer base in their home market as Tesla’s is. It also shows how simplistic some people’s view of a demand issue is. Some people define it as not being able to sell as many as you make while I define it as not making as much as you could with a superior strategy.

However – we love our existing Model 3P and will likely stay with it for a long time. (It’s actually so much better than the day we took delivery of it, thanks to constant updates!)

The biodefense system with the large HEPA filter was a mistake in that chinese flyer you showed. It was later retracted. Model 3 is not big enough to support that large filter. Only the Y, X, and S have the biodefense mode that can make it safe to drive near forest fires and keep the air clean inside. Electrified covered this last week. Otherwise great update. Thank You!

It's a PILL, not a pile. A pile is slang for a hemorrhoid,, as bitter as that itself might be.
I'm a total Tesla Fanboy and believe that they will get full self-driving.. someday. I'm much more positive about WeMo and cruise, although they have a different system than Tesla which may be inferior, it wouldn't hurt anyone to have more than one system doing robotaxis. Just because they're having some problems now doesn't mean they won't work them out in the next few years. I know they are geo-fenced, but so what. As I say I think it would be good for the world to have more than one way of doing autonomy.
