  1. All of the plants and trees look so great. A long time until we get to plant. Supposed to snow Saturday. Still got my fig tree covered up. I made Ms Wanda's fig newtons and they was good but hard work. I made fig jam taste like honey I am eating on butter biscuits I tried bacon covered figs no good. Jam is just great but I did take some seeds out

  5. ?Danny, why do you keep the buck rabbit away from the females?
? And could you explain the food you gave the calves. Did you grow it or is it bought? Looked like chicken scratch. You are a big help to us as we strive to do for ourselves.

  6. I really enjoy learning your suggestions for cutting the cost of animal feed and also seeing your rabbit system. I don't have livestock yet, but wonder what animal you would suggest as best to start with?

    Hi Danny&Wanda.
Vines need pruning of young branches to increase growth and flowering and consequently increase the amount of fruit. Leave 3 eyes close to the central branch.

  10. On that pepper plant, I had a Trinidad Maruga Scorpion that was 7 years old. It only died when we moved to the Gulf Coast and I failed to water it. 🙁 I would bring it in before any danger of frost, just watering lightly while inside. It only got reflective light, no full sunlight. I was just trying to keep it alive til Spring. I do have another one that is 2 years old now. I have it in my laundry room. As soon as it warms up, I will put it outside and give it plenty of water and it'll be producing in no time. I also rooted about 6 or 7 cuttings from the Mother plant that are doing great. If you need any, just let me know. They are very hot!! About 2 million Scoville heat units, just under the Carolina Reaper. Before the Carolina Reaper, it was rated as the hottest pepper on earth.
