  1. This has got to be the most propaganda based video you guys have ever uploaded. The warring pagans converted into the peaceful christian faith. They were converted by sward point. Convert or die. The Christian faith at that time was more akin to Nazi Germany.

  2. Cuthbert’s storey of being fed by an Eagle isn’t that strange. I’ve seen that happen! Eagles will drop the fish because it’s struggling or sometimes they just drop it and hang about. You can call him lucky, but I believe good things come from God.

  3. As a little girl I went to the village school in what is now Tyne and Wear. Our sporting teams/houses were Cuthbert, Chad, Bede and Aidan, though I don't recall anyone explaining those names to us

  4. The reformation was disastrous to the monastic life in Britain. So many beautiful abbeys and manastaries destroyed. You cant throw a stone without hitting a destroyed abbey. A real shame.
