My hope is if Metal Sonic isn’t the second playable character in Shadow Generations then they could make him skins for Modern and Classic Sonic.

Technically there was a interview with the sonic director confirming that classic shadow won’t appear as a playable 4th character still confirming that there’s a 4th playable character and not just a character bio to fill in that 4th slot

We're definitely getting a movie skin. Just too soon to announce since the movie isn't out yet.
I think holiday shadow would probably be either Sonic movie 3 or Christmas shadow
Also I hope that the coming soon character isn't just shadow with all his doom powers.

honestly rather no skins be locked behind DLC or Pre-Order… Not that it doesn't look cool just feel this used to be a auto include in most games… just starting to feel scummy… With PSO2 from Sega I kinda get it since it's a MMOJRPG but with Sonic just feels wrong

The Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog skin and a voxel skin for classic all the skins from Frontiers for modern sonic a MODERN shadow onesie skin.
