Since El-Rang is ambitious, he would become a lich in his ultimate search for knowledge. He couldn't possibly learn everything in 250 years.

Concerning religion something that benefits the Ayleid in their reconquista of Tamriel, by any means necessary with the knowledge granted by Hermeus Mora. That is the El-Rang way it's why this series started and his ambition must be fueled if not it will just perish in this kingdom stagnation, El-Rang knows the ancient history and considers himself the true ruler of it all, if not for him than for his dynasty with his first wife as he has been always faithful to her. This is also why I don't think he wants immortality he's not been the same since her death, and I would think that he just wants everything to be in place for succession and join her.
El Rang must achieve CHIM; becoming the god of his own religion.
You can marry off aldarchs to people in other courts. They literally eff off. You can also cast charm on plot targets to reduce their resistance to schemes. And as for getting good people for your council, sort by their skill, abduct, undead thrall.
If possible seeking out mannimarco and recruiting him would make for an excellent addition to your collection of powerful people.
Hey I mentioned this last episode but I'm just letting you know one more time. Inspired characters will almost alway refuse landed marriages, offers to council positions and minor court titles in some cases. The implication they are wandering travelers seeking inspiration and this would keep them in court permanently stifling their creativity.
Its a deliberate choice the CK3 devs made so you couldn't just keep pumping out maximum quality artefacts. I just don't want you to think its a bug that they keep refusing landed marriages but are happy to marry nobody courtiers.
If you'd like a petty reason for El-Rang to focus on lichdom, it's just that if he dies before his immortal, undead wife, technically she wins their rivalry.
I would suggest for the faith divergence, you may want to consider allowing werewolves and vampires. You're already a witch and a werewolf, may as well have the whole trifecta be allowed in your realm.
Mr Streamer having a non immortal CK character (challenge impossible)
family business, i think that was the nepotism related on in the cultures, has always felt like the best fit for this kingdom and character to me. He's all about aggrandizing his family.
It's 50 years inbetween adding cultural traditions so you can't even add another one yet.
Still philosopher culture seems good. It's all about learning and technological progress. Will make all the other members of the culture more likely to get pensive, which is the childhood trait most focused on learning. So every dynasty member will be more successful in learning educations.
Really great series so far. Playing the character has been spot on. Favorite part of the episode was when you decided he wouldn't kill his friend even though they were a bit shit stat-wise
Push down to claim all iliac bay, in order to disable the bridges when you are ready to reform your faith. This might also allow you to spread your diplo range enough so you can have a few more options in intrigue.I also advice you to turn all non "Malada(Salliache)Ayleids" of your court,to undead of your faith for further court stability.All those adventurers you had for the last 2 episodes for example. Before you free them from prison and send them on adventure, turn them to thralls.

With the second to last lifestyle in the Diplomat tree you can buy artifact claims and claim them afterwards in war or steal them
why is nobody ever talking about the use of "buy claim" as a way for el-rang to explore piety and conquer more land for this dinasty?
Tip for what to do with extra weapons: give them to adventurers. One of the things determining their skill is prowess, and boosting that with artifacts will therefore make them better.

You have to convert the culture in the goblin culture provinces and convert the religion.
Land one of your dynasty in a foreign kingdom, make El-rang immortal and then start playing as the person you landed so you can watch what he gets up to as an AI
kinda weird that elrang doesn't have master mage. because as you said he has no formal education and was not part of any codified magical study…… because he was the one to do the codifying. saliache being brought back by elrang enabled student of magic traits, it was him that unlocked that again for his dynasty in a renown perk, and he is cultural head of the saliache which was the first culture to get codified magical studies.
Galerion the founder of the mages guild was one of his councilers ffs, elrang basically replaced him in this version of tamrielic history.

If you install a member of your dynasty as a king who is of daedric descent and speaks daedric, you can finally adopt the daedric language as your primary language of your culture.
I'm not sure what it's effect is
But I saw a Cultural thing called Eye for an Eye, and it seems from the title alone to really fit El-Rang.
