Cruise's permits suspended for driverless cars



The California DMV has suspended the permits needed for Cruise to operate its fleet of autonomous vehicles in San Francisco over concerns about safety.

  4. Here's the issue. No one outside of Kyle Vogt and the paid endorsements for Cruise is out there supporting Cruise with Marches and/or protests for the company. This is where Cruise will lose and be out of SF. The public couldn't care less, people will still hail Ubers and taxis. It's really no loss for the general public. No one has Cruises back.

  5. I drive for Uber and I always feel safer driving around them compared to my fellow colleagues 😂 They are overly cautious and never do stupid manuevers, unlike some rideshare drivers that will literally make a random U turn or stop in the middle of the street to pickup a passenger .

  6. This was a stupid recklessly dangerous idea from the start. If California fascist marxist democrats want to demand firearms regulations, they must demand licensed drivers in all cars. Cars kill far more people than firearms! If you wouldn't approve of self firing guns, which is impossible…then no one should be okay with 4,000lbs unmanned killing machines on our streets and freeways.
