  1. We had a man beat up bad on our cruise. There was a huge group of 300 They were smoking pot near the basketball court. A guy with a son asked them to please stop due to his child being near by. Later one of the ones smoking pot and a few of his buddies went on a hunt for the father and beat the mess out of him. This was on Allure of the Seas Royal Caribbean cruise out of Galveston Tx

  2. Tony,
Lived in Nashville from 1989 – 1994 and just loved it…boy how the city and surrounding areas have changed.
Is it me or is there a high correlation between Carnaval Cruises and Violence on cruise ships? Yet another reason to stay away from Carnaval. Would love to see some statics.

  3. I was on this Magic cruise, and it was great. It was a much older and less drunk group of cruisers than I’ve experienced on previous Carnival trips. I was unaware that this incident happened but I spent a lot of time reading and relaxing on our balcony and didn’t hear anyone mention it.

  4. Confrontation rarely is worth it. We just shake our head and speak poorly of them amongst ourselves. 😂. Grateful that I just got hired to coach HS basketball for this winter. I quit my previous gig after 6 years at the end of last season because the drive was just too long. Found a new opportunity 5 minutes from my house and will still allow our cruise on the Valiant Lady in February to happen.

  5. I'm surprised not to have seen more news stories about a very similar assault on the Carnival Pride last week, it doesn't appear to have been reported widely like this one has.
In this case it was an argument between family members in the main dining room, and a glass was thrown causing quite severe cuts & bleeding. As far as i'm aware the person was removed at the next port, but it just seems crazy that so many people now just resort to violence at fairly minor provocation. You're right, you can't confront strangers any more, but it seems that you can't feel safe with family either. 😢

  6. As far as grateful….my yorky passed away in late July and I was recently given a little female to replace my sweetheart !!!.
May not seem much but the grief I suffered was awful. So to replace and help me is a grateful gesture I had to mention.
    Thx Tony for the opportunity……

  7. Completed 20 sailings on Carnival and this was the first time I witnesses a fight . It was 10-12 minutes into the theater showroom when loud screams were heard from the balcony. A passenger asked a man to lower his voice. The assailant then bludgeoned the man in the face repeatedly. Because the theater was dark it took security a few minutes to reach the area. By that time two men from the audience pulled off the assailant then he ran to the back of the ship before being apprehended and locked in his room. The man suffered several cuts to his face that needed stitched and a black eye. Charges were filed.

  8. My wife and I just came off our first Celebrity cruise on Equinox which was outstanding! No incidents for us and we met some really nice people but on our last sea day we herd two guys yelling at each other briefly on the pool deck as we were on the upper deck but not sure what it was about.
With our country such a mess currently economy wise and foreign policy wise probably doesn't take much as our country is very divided Lol. Also we saw some passengers wearing t shirts with statements which tend to provoke a response as well.

  9. Don’t know how to contact you Tony but Breaking news: Anthem of the seas on her 15 day transatlantic cruise from Southampton England to port liberty, NJ has had to cancel her two day stay in Bermuda due to hurricane Tammy. We are instead going to Halifax, Nova Scotia.. a little disappointed as I wanted to go to Bermuda but clearly the hurricane and the safety for all has to come first

  10. Hi Tony, love the show. My wife and I watch every day. Your sense of humor is just as weird as ours! I have one small criticism. I noticed a while ago, your introduction includes "FOR YOUR FACE" and lately you've been saying that twice in a row. For some reason, I don't like that very much. I know you are very conscious of how many subscribers comment on certain topics. We'll see if others comment on this particular topic.

  11. Such disgusting behavior by people, and these are adults! I am with you, Tony I am not a confrontational person and that is because nowadays you just don’t know what people are going to do. I go to the movies frequently and it really angers me when people talk throughout the movie, but you have to be careful who you say something to.

I hope that aggressive low life was brought up on charges and banned from Carnival!!

  12. I was aboard the Carnival Magic but, thankfully not at the show. If this man was so disruptive as many said why didn't security remove him? I did see security sitting outside his cabin for the remaining days at sea though. I witnessed 2 other events that could've went wrong during this voyage. I think it's time leave Carnival for a while.

  13. I PAY FOR NO ADS. So you do an ad, I block you! I do not give a damn how relevant you think the ad is, the fact you’re getting paid to force me to watch chit I pay not to see is a violation. Got it? Good. ‘Cause you just blew your ONLY chance!

  14. I was on this cruise and in the room when it happened. It was during the Flick show and the woman was screaming very loud in the upper balcony. The lights came up and she continued screaming. We thought it was part of the show at first but quickly found out it wasn't. The cruise director Mike was great and had things under control. Your account is what we heard on the boat. The suspect fled but was later caught on the boat. The FBI took him off the ship in Nofolk, VA.
