Crucible Knight Boss Fight (No Damage) [Elden Ring]

Elden Ring – Crucible Knight Boss Fight (No Damage Taken) / Crucible Knight No Damage Boss Fight Guide / Tutorial / How To Beat Crucible Knight Elden Ring. Just a quick video showing the Crucible Knight boss fight in Elden Ring. Details below.

Well, this was an unexpected boss. Network test had Bloodhound Knight here, instead it’s Crucible Knight. One of the better side-bosses in the game so far, fun fight to learn and play. I think that’s all of the bosses in Limgrave done no damage now, will take a little break as I’ve been up for hours and return at some point later.

Any major story spoilers won’t be shown on the channel, outside of boss names and boss pictures (except for those with major story spoilers or implications / final boss). If you’re worried about seeing an image and names of random bosses during the game then I apologise, but every single other channel covering the game is also doing the same. So it wouldn’t make sense trying to avoid posting boss names when uploading these. Will go through all of the bosses with no damage, and post location guides or anything else in between.

  1. when i fought this boss I did about 30 damage per hit so I had to learn to parry all of his attacks perfectly to beat him. Second phase is hellish because you parry the first attack or roll out because he always uses his tail after a whiff.

  2. This boss is so fucking garbage. Literally beat Margit my second attempt and haven't died once to any of the 10 dungeon bosses I've faced. Died twice to Leonine Misbegotten, but apparently can't beat this douche after 20 deaths. You can only seldom punish his moves and if RNG is just garbage then have fun waiting

  3. Im so glad i chose to play as a warrior. My gameplay is completely different and faster paced. Didn't manage to get a no dmg run but i didn bully him like nobody else

  4. Fuck this boss, I actually had to go get some levels and flasks to retry again and it hurt my ego. Then it gives a spell I can't even use and only 2100 runes XDDDDD
Just a tip, when he does the spin attack like here 1:04 you can jump over his second spin and get a strong jump attack.

  5. Wow, so why do I get the feeling dealing with certain bosses its just easier with faster weapons? Kinda feels like it defeats the purpose of trying out different things for builds. I'm using an average speed greatsword and I still feel slow af

  6. In my opinion all of the evergaol enemies or however you spell it are really easy to shoot with sorcery or miracles. They jump around some but there's a grace period if you hang back enough where they will walk at you without attacking.

  7. OK, so after dying to this mf for like 50 times in a row, I finally managed to figure him out and beat him near-flawlessly with melee only. Here's what I got out of my fight with him:
    1. The arena: The arena itself is pretty big, but there are some rocks and trees that can hinder your movement so I recommend fighting him only in the stone circle zone in the middle if you don't want to have to pay attention to potential obstacles.
    2. Dodging him: This is surprisingly easy. If you run away and dodge constantly, he will literally never reach and hit you.(of course, if you time your dodges correctly). What I did was circle him constanty around the inner stone circle of the arena. Try to always stay a few meters away from him while baiting his attacks. He has two attacks that leave him quite open, which I will discuss in the next point.
    3. Getting hits in: This is the hard part. Sure, you can run forever but you have to get hits in every now and then. After studying his attack patterns I found 2 really good opportunities to hit him: First is his shield bash attack. As I mentioned previously, you should try to always stay a few meters away from him and bait his attacks. When you see him doing his shield bash, roll into him after he does the attack and hit him once, then roll back away immediately, and continue your running and dodging strategy. His next attack that leaves him open is his stomp+one handed strike. After he does the stomp, he will do a one-handed strike with his sword. As always, keep your distance and roll into him only after he does the sword strike, and then hit him once. It's EXTREMELY important to time this correctly, because if you roll into him too early he will continue his combo and hit you, so only roll/run into him to attack after he does his downward sword strike. He cannot act while doing his animation of pulling back his shield.
    4. Phase 2: After the fight progresses a little, he gains some new attacks: The one where he charges you while flying is easy to dodge normally, and the tail one should not be a problem if you keep you distance from him. He also has a double-tail attack with extreme range. This one can be jumped over, but be careful to time it correctly. (This attack also seems to leave him open, but I think it's quite risky to try to get any hits in here).

And yeah thats it. Run away constantly and keep and eye on the moves that leave him open. He can fuck you up if you get too cocky. It may take a while doing it this way, but it's a really safe way to do the fight.

  8. For this guy I just turned all my estus into ashen estus then baited attacks for openings to use the glintstone pebble spell. Even though it is a fast spell this guy turtles behind his shield which blocks most of the damage. The foot slam attack or sword scrape attack were great opportunities for hits, but he seemed to do them rarely so I would just use a spell after his forward lunge attack and hope he went for another swipe. There were other opportunities but the windows were so small that most of the time my spells would hit his shield and in the end I’d run out of ashen estus, or I’d just die because I had no healing and this guy two shot me. Really fun boss though. 10/10 would play again.
