I'm shocked to see Personal Preference, I literally have the original on my shelf 😂 It's actually not awful and especially not for its era.
I wish the main 4 would talk about Apex Legends TBG
I love how much Camilla argues 😂 it’s honestly great
Love listening. Thanks 🎉
I have missed Roy being in front of the camera! We need more reviews that are more about the theme and how epic the game feels.
The phone attachment just makes me sad that the modular phone concept was scrapped. There were prototypes of phones where you could hot-swap a battery, camera, etc. You could even power down and swap the CPU and add/remove memory. It also would've meant that screen fixes would've been easier and cheaper for people. Plus, the open nature of the modules meant that more niche products like medical attachments could've been created.
You. Will. Never. Play. A. Finished. Legacy. Game!
With Botany, I've seen it REPEATEDLY advertised all over my Instagram and YouTube channels so maybe it's some aggressive and/or targetted advertising that has caused it to do so well?
A like just fot Zee not liking the year 2222 hahahha although he is right.
I’m backing Botany. I really like the art (especially the drawings of the plants) and it is a family game with a theme that might interest my wife.
Yeah I felt no need to back Clank! I'll just get it at retail and save a heap of money.
Thanks for featuring our game Lindyhop and I hope it lives up to Zee’s hopes! To answer the question about information on the others hand; you start the game by the Lead choosing out of two open hands. After that it’s up to you to card count from the 40 dance cards available.
Flip books. Look at where their thumb is when they flip. That's how you get 6 images per book.
Clank did add a stretch goal that's exclusive to the campaign – you get an actual hat, plushie, and clank sticker sheet.
Botany is giving me Wingspan vibes (not gameplay), a bunch of people bought it because they like birds. I’m thinking plant people are going for this the same way.
Tin Robot: "No one involved in this game has ever made a game like this before, but we're never selling this version again so you can't just wait to see if we can actually deliver what we're promising."
I figured with Clank, I’m going to buy it anyways, so might as well pledge now and get it early with whatever Kickstarter exclusives there might be.
Monster Hunter has gotten the same kind of reviews as every other SFG, or Awaken Realms, game. The people who paid a fortune for it are judging it based on how much money they sunk into it, while everyone else is saying "Meh, it's OK I guess."
Wouldn't it just be the icing on the cake if Cities of Venus were to take place specifically on February 2nd, 2222?
I had a bad dream last night and woke up at 2:22. I immediately thought of Zee's vitriol towards to the year 2222, I laughed and then went peacefully back to sleep 😅
I don’t have that many games. My let down was gloomhaven. Its really hard to get to the table. After 10 missions I was done. I was bored. I understand it’s rated as a top game, I’m glad people love it but it’s not for me. Happy gaming everyone!
I’m also excited to play Paper Trail – I like that if you are playing more than once, you can switch roles and keep the game fresh.
I backed Paper Trail! Looking forward to adding another game to the collection and playing as a teacher and student. Interesting concept there!
Thanks for featuring our game Cities of Venus! Love the giggles! Maybe we make the follow-up take place in 3333 lol
The timestamps are wrong 🙁
I backed Botany because I like the art, the time period it's set in, and it's pick-up and deliver essentially, which is a mechanism that I like. For what it's worth the "take-that" aspect of the game doesn't actually have to be utilized to play it. You can cater that to what your group likes. I think it's popularity is because it hits several different niche groups – plant people, Victorian history people, board game people. Like, this game was shared to several groups I also follow that aren't board game related at all but had to do with the Victorian theme aspect. I think the carry-over to other groups beyond board games was underestimated and is one of the main reasons it's doing so well.
