Welcome to Profiling Evil’s new series, Twisted Tales, where we unravel the fascinating crimes and challenges of history. In this episode, we gallop into the perilous world of the Pony Express, a daring enterprise that bridged the gap between East and West for a brief but unforgettable 18 months. While its riders are often celebrated as brave heroes, the story of the Pony Express is equally a tale of robberies, murders, and lawlessness. So saddle up folks and let’s explore the twisted tales that shaped this icon of the Wild West. #PonyExpressTrail #WildWestHistory #StagecoachRobbery #GoldRushCrimes #FrontierJustice #OldWestLegends #HistoricTrails #WestwardExpansion #WildWestCrimes #OutlawTales #FrontierGold #StagecoachMurder #WesternHistory #PonyExpressCrimes #OutlawsOfTheWest #mapping #GIS #esri #CourtTV #Newsnation #WildBill #BuffaloBill

Thanks Mike for this little chunk of history. I enjoy your Twisted Tales series immensely!
It's amazing how a lot of history is forgotten. Seems in today's schools it's not taught like it was back in the day of crimes of the past.
Love your new series.
Hi Mike! Love this series of history surrounding the days of the Pony Express! I grew to enjoy reading and hearing historical accounts through a professor who really had a talent for telling the story beyond the proverbial dates we were so often expected to learn and remember for an exam! 😊 You have that same talent and I appreciate your sharing your talent with us here on Profiling Evil! I’m looking forward to hearing more!
A note to Profiling Evil subscribers…I bought both of Mike’s two books about two years ago! You will totally enjoy reading and learning from Mike’s writings! I read both books to my husband as we were having to do some traveling at the time. Both books were very captivating and the time and miles flew by at the reading of both books! We highly recommend buying both books…a set for yourself and several sets as gifts for family and friends!
Wishing all of the Profiling Evil friends, along with Mike and his family, a wonderful Christmas Season and many blessings this coming New Year! 🎄❤️🙏🎄
Howdy Partners! I rode 40 hours plus a week for years, through the San Bernadino Mountains as a "wrangler" a guide. I pondered what riding the mail delivery route must have been like. My horse was a thoroughbred mare almost 18 hands tall. So fast. Great Video!
I love this series! That's a beautiful piece of land you have there too. I've always loved the history of the Old West! I have been to some of the old original Wells Fargo stagecoach stops in Northern California.
My kind of stuff. 😎👍
I very much enjoyed this video! I love the amazing and often rough history of the American west.
I enjoyed this podcast! As a Canadian having lived in the US for a few years, I’m not familiar with The Pony Express very much at all. Thank you for sharing this. It is interesting.
Was there various races that rode as Pony Express Riders.😊
Mike, our version here in Australia, called Cobb and Co which ran from 1853 to 1924 when it ceased with the advent of motorised transport. In 1853, Freeman Cobb and other American immigrants founded Cobb & Co. The company was originally called the American Telegraph Line of Coaches. The first coach ran from Melbourne to the Castlemaine goldfields in 1854. In 1865, Cobb & Co expanded into Queensland. The company built its own coaches in the 1860s. Cobb & Co became one of the world's largest coaching networks. My great grandfather was a driver here in Victoria.❤🦘
Mike I really like hanging out with you (virtually)! I'm sure I'd have a great time (IRL) tagging along and learning about so many things! It looks COLD but there's nothing better than a crackling fire and sunshine to make it A-OK! 🙂 Happy New Year!! Be safe!
Loved this!!
Twisted in the form of desperation and greed. Brave souls those riders, their legacy lives on 🐴, and yes nature looks good on you
I did not know most of this… thank you
