TODAY we are taking a look at CREEPSHOW! specifically one of the three animated episodes of called “The Thing in Oakwood’s Past”! Every 200 years a small town of people mysteriously disappear. Most people believe it’s a legend, but it’s more real than they’d hate to believe. Our main character Marnie discovered 4 books hidden in the town library that tell the stories of each disappearance , but in a cryptic way. She also finds coordinates on the back of one of the books which lead to a hidden chest near the school. She believes they need to open the chest to protect the town… but she couldn’t be further from the truth. Will she stop the demons from taking over the town? Will everyone get taken away again restarting the 200 year curse? WATCH TO FIND OUT!!!

I like how you were talking about them discovering that every 200 years something kills the town. And at the end of that I was like 'good so just don't open the box'…only for the characters to conclude the exact opposite and think they need to open the box. Why would that ever be the thought process? It is a demonic looking box, why would something good be on there?
You missed an Easter egg, mayor Wrightston is named after Bernie Wrightston who illustrated the Creepshow comic adaptation. Also did the illustration for one of King's Dark Tower series, book V, Wolves Of The Calla, definitely in my top 2 in the series. And I think he also did Cycle Of The Werewolf.
