you american guys should see how in germany beergardens are handled 😀 in many of them kids are allowed. Of course they may not drink alocohol legaly, but anyways some parents let their kids taste their first beer. Just search for German biergarten in youtube and youll find many videos

Have you considered a second YouTube channel for things that aren't Cities Skylines? That way, people don't have to even have it in their subs if they don't want. I watch a lot of Sims channels, and several of those people have second channels for other stuff. It's often not so regular, but it gives the freedom to play other stuff and see what works for creator and viewers. Just a thought😊

Well, here we are. A few months ago YouTube recommended Nicolet Bay to me. I watched every episode and was hungry for more.
So, on December 11 2022 I started Verde Beach, and I've just finished the most recent episode. 117 episodes in two and a half months.
It's been amazing to watch you develop not only an amazing, vibrant city but evolve your editing style, presenting quirks and chasing the "algorithm". I noticed when you got a new microphone, was pleased when you implemented City Tours at the end of each video, and blown away by the overhead time-lapse in episode 100.
There have been highs – launching VB's first (and only?) rocket, and expansion onto man-made and natural islands; and lows – the tsunami broke my heart and watching the zoo and parks burn down episode after episode was quite difficult viewing, having become quite attached to the story of the city.
I'm excited to see what the future holds for Verde Beach and I'm keeping up with your revamp of your abandoned city and Nicolet Bay. Perhaps I'll try the first episode of Clearwater County and see where that leads.
I've often wondered if I'd get caught up, and I'm glad I can, so I can make a simple request for naming something in Verde Beach. I lost my mother two and a half years ago after a short illness. Her name was Joy, and your VB episodes have definitely brought their fair share of joy to my life over the past couple of months. I'd be honoured if you'd please consider naming something that brings you joy in the city, the suburbs or the countryside, after my dear mother.

There was a building in a town near me that the water main ran under the corner. They had torn down the corner to move the water main
I rarely catch streams, but as twitch goes, I'd say only do it if you simul-stream or at least upload the VODs to YouTube.

I like live streams, but I prefer to watch them back vs live because I want to watch what you're doing to your ongoing cities. If you had a build just for stream, I'd be more inclined to drop in mid-way through. A bi-weekly schedule could work, regular enough that people have something to look forward to but not so frequent that they become annoying. I will admit that I get bothered by folks who stream too frequently but that's a personal issue, I know others really enjoy it. I get bothered only because I watch them back, and they tend to be several hours, which can sometimes take a few days for me to watch. No complaints because I have backlogs of content usually, but it can get to be a bit much.

I use Twitch way more and I love the viewer experience and features that Twitch has. But if you start on YouTube then I think you might pull a bigger audience on YouTube, but over a couple Months on Twitch you might expand to a much bigger audience. Just a big issue is that twitch takes 50% of sub money and that just sucks.
