NOICE
Cozy x Monster collection is always a win
Hoo, boy. I mean mad props to the devs for having an NPC outright tell you they’re nonbinary, but holy hell are they gonna get shit for it in reviews/comments. (unfortunately)
I’ve seen so many games where the only nod to LGBTQ issues was allowing the player to choose their pronouns in a way that doesn’t affect gameplay at all, and yet the crazies all came out of the woodwork and lost their goddamn minds bitching about shit that doesn’t even affect them.
I don’t wanna imagine what Steam’s review and discussion sections are gonna look like for a game where it’s something that actually comes up from an NPC.
You got me to buy wolfstride. Really good need to get back to it
Looks like a really cute game. They have nailed the Pokemon asthetics.
Wishlisted, looking forwards to seeing more!
(don't have the game but) weren't you suppose to sell the copper to the blacksmith directly?
Then again it is alpha so could be a glitch there as well.
Looks fun but not something I am currently looking for.
I like how Skies of Arcadia has turn based combat but the enemies and characters move around so you have to pay attention to where the pieces are on your “board” as well as where they’re going.
I’m also a fan of Rune Factory 4’s combat since you can use any weapon and any skill in any combination.
Game: "you shouldn't destroy town property"
Wander: "It's a rock!"
Wander, if you ever try to destroy or take a big rock/boulder placed somewhere that belongs to a city, I think the authorities would have something to say about it. Boulders cost monies, and are often placed to encourage or discourage specific behaviours, like not parking on lawns. So the in game reasoning there is actually pretty realistic, weird as it sounds.
YES, I just saw the trailer for this game yesterday since I've been getting into life sim/ creature collecting games! This honestly looks REALLY good!
The blacksmith quest is to sell copper ore to her, at her store. To do alchemy and progress in crafting, you need to do her quest and the starting quest of going out at night to hunt Moonstone.
I have wanted a cozy fantasy farming game for a long while.
I just cant wait for this one. I hope each part of this feels fleshed out bc it has everything I love. I could spend hours just chilling and perfecting my team, farms, and cards. I also hope the friendship stuff also helps develop the world and lore of this place not just help u feel attached to the npcs. I'd also be super excited to see if they add shiny monsters too. It's always super hype finding one of those in any monster collecting game.
they gave you a walkthrough… it's like they don't think you can game… lol.
It reminded me Monster Sanctuary. A mix of metroidvania and monster collection.
