  1. fish, love you and your show , and whereas, you do question Jerry on the air , albeit, the ONLY one who is totally direct and to the point , although crass is Shannon Sharpe in terms of " the problem with the cowboys is simply JERRY THE EGO JONES. Today he indicated Halley's comet will appear again before dallas wins a SB or gets to NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. BTW= JERRY trained Stephen !!!

  2. So Murchison owned the team for 24 years and got the Cowboys to 5 SBs with 2 Chips (and 20 playoff appearances)….Jerry has owned the team for 36 years and got us 3 trips with 3 wins in the first 8 years and bubkis since…we need new ownership

  3. I think we are all witnessing the SJ era. This doesn't seem like JJ . First we're " all in" and now " we do more with less!" A retraction? It seems weird that the focal point and all the negativity is aimed on the wrong person. He's being the martyr so that lil Stevie can sit there with his bean counters and plan on 2027. My two cents.I'm taking a break.

  4. Everyone needs to relax, you have to have young players step up at some point. Coaching stubborn coaching is what cost us. I think the team will be able to compete. Let’s see how Zim uses the young players we have. Quinn hurt us. He was never able to stop the run. I believe we have a team to get it done however, their mentality has to change. The players we lost had 3 years to get it done and didn’t so I understand making changes.

  5. Foundational players? Zack and Smith, yes. Parsons is a 245 pound DT that can't tackle, a pass rush only specialist. Lamb has great hands and speed burst after the catch but isn't tall or physical or seperation speedy and can't run routes which is why he disappears in big games. Diggs? Improved in his last full year but does get burned…a lot. Bland? Gets burned with regularity. This whole team, including the QB, is vastly overrated and gets that from padded numbers obtained from playing amazingly bad teams. We just lostva left tackle who missed 25% of the games and a center that got pushed around more than a baby stroller. We still have Steele, who's got the mobility of an 80 year old man and Zack who IS an 80 year old man and someday soon that'll start manifesting itself.Hankins doesn't fit what apparently is a looming rebuild scenario plus you've got to try Mazi. Last year this team couldn't stop the run, stop TEs, the offense couldn't open run lanes, the RB couldn't move the pile. and the QB continues to show major flaws against even average teams.

  8. That is so disheartening. Anyone that was paying any attention to what was going on in the run defensive last year realizes that Hankins was one of the few inside defensive lineman that played well and was somewhat impactful especially in the run game. You let him walk for less than 2 mil? Trying to keep calm and continue carrying on but this off season is just rubbing salt into a very open wound. That being said, thanks for the straight dope. No matter what it may be.

  9. I don't understand so far the Eagles, paid JH just as much as Dak,they also have high priced payers too quite a few in key positions, they still managed to bring more talents, is this CAP Hell situation the Cowboys make it out to be?

  10. We make believe we have these 4 or 5 stars…. But are they only stars in Dallas? Even Parsons… Where was he against GB? The safeties are so overrated and the LBs don't exist. Lamb and Dak didn't exist. Are they real stars? Against good opponents they are simply overpaid and over hyped players. We call our B players …A's. then we pay them that way. Now we can't afford more Bs.

  11. Cowboys lucked into number 2 seed when Philly collapsed and did nothing with it. Jones’s show you their arrogance. I have money so I know football better than you. The last 30 years say different but they continue to repeat the same mistakes.

  12. LET THE CAKE BAKE?!?!?!?!
That hasn't worked for 27 years and counting. That's front office talk.
It's just a whole lot of 🐂 freakin' doodoo. 💩.
Joneses want as much as 💰 "ALL IN" their pockets!
    DON'T BE SUCKERS!

  13. When you see or hear McCarthy just think Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Moneyball. He has no faith in the Joneses. He says exactly the opposite of what Stephen says. This is a fn train wreck! The joke of the League! You guys would love to hear what a real league GM thinks of Stephen when you are completely off the record. He is a laughing stock!

  14. Stephen is nepotism gone completely awry of sane thinking. His plan hasn’t worked, isn’t working and won’t EVER work. Everyone needs to do the 1st quarter walkout in the first home game so Jerry knows we are not EVER going to accept Capboy junior.

  15. So let me get this straight. The players are going to be better. But since the Joneses are even WORSE than usual how will the team be better? Reminds me of a saying with monkeys and footballs.
