Fellow Patriots & Freedom lovers, On April 7th 2022 I was peacefully exercising my 1st Amendment rights in the city of Lexington, Kentucky. While I was taking some pictures & videos in the publicly accessible areas, I was approach by the county clerk Don Blevins. Mr. Blevins hated the fact the that I was peacefully exercising my rights in HIS building and followed me around harassing me and treating me with the upmost disrespect. He even called Lexington PD to remove me from the public building and denied me my open records request. I was told to leave the building or I would have my freedom taken from me. I will NOT let this go! I will do everything I can to hold him and the city accountable! The County Clerk is an elected position and I hope the residents of Fayetteville County vote him out of office! He doesn’t deserve to serve the public after what the behavior and contempt for the public he exhibited! The ladies in the human resource dept especially the employee that handed over the open records request for to Sean was the most courteous and professional person in the video. The rest DO NOT represent the county well. They all need training on the law including the Lexington police officers and a basic training on how to treat public citizens. The elected official should be voted out for cursing in public!!

It is BEYOND troubling, and quite a fearful issue when police officers-those who are sworn to protect and uphold the laws, have a dismally dysfunctional knowledge of people's rights under the Constitution. In fact, it is downright dangerous not only to citizens but also to the police officers themselves. Are these officers the very best that this city's law enforcement can find and attract? I won't even comment about that elected official who used disrespectful and offensive language towards a member of the public who pays his salary. He needs to be removed from office-would he speak to his mayor like that?
