  1. The video we saw lacked realism for several key reasons:

    1. The Iranian pilots were AI-controlled, while the Israeli pilots were humans, which undoubtedly influenced the outcome.
    2. It's highly probable that Iran possesses more than just two S-400 sites and has additional SAMs that could significantly alter the scenario.
    3. The Iranian Air Force operates a diverse range of aircraft, not limited to 6 Mig 29 and 6 F-14s, which should be considered in any realistic assessment.
    4. Considering the geopolitical dynamics, it is improbable that Saudi Arabia would permit Israel to utilize its airspace.

In my opinion, Iran possesses a substantial capability to defend itself.

  2. 4:00 The island is not heavily defended because they are relying on their shore-based anti-ship missiles, and their fleets of speedboats (kamikaze and mine-dropping), plus any non-conventional aircraft to do the damage before the fighting hits land. They don't have German-style bunkeritis.

  3. Great fun as always.
In the real case though, I just can't see Jordan or Saudi Arabia helping Israel.
Yes, they're in a tacit agreement against Iran, but they're not friends, and both countries — like every Arab country — are extremely concerned with loss of face. Domestically, and on Al Jazeera, they do a tough talk about the nasty Israelis.
Also, they don't want to be attacked by Iranian missiles or terrorist proxies.
And I think if Israel did try it on, well, it could be a very bad day. Only one thing has to go wrong in a very complex plan.
I think Israel's attack may come down to cyber warfare (especially against infrastructure), assassinations and missile strikes.

  4. Great vid as always.
Since I watched this however the following has happened.
    (1) The Gulf States have informed Israel they cannot overfly their airspace to attack Iran.
    (2) Russia is supplying Iran with real time Satellite data (saw a Russian sat pic of US tanker aircraft in Qatar this morning) so there will be no element of surprise.
    (3) Iraq has warned the US that if Israel uses its airspace then Shia groups plan to launch massive localised attacks to destroy every US base in the country.
Seems the difficulty level in terms of striking Iran has just gone up significantly.
Then there is possibility that by the time the Israeli planes return they won't have a base left to land at. Iran has said the moment any Israel aircraft fires anything at them they will launch a decapitation strike at Israel using thousands of BM.

Not passing comment on Iran's ability to suceed, but if Israel does attack then we probably are in a full blown ME war.

  5. Why the Island is so poorly defended? Really? Do you no know that Iranian Princes must live in fine palaces while there is not enough to go around to provide 1st world housing for the majority of their citizens? The money for a "good" life has to be taken somewhere.

  6. 8:23 F35 helmets are 400000 euros partly because the integrated cameras on the F35 allow a 360 degrees view for the pilot. When for example the pilot looks back, the part of the plane that obstructs his view, will be filled in with a video image that is actually provided by a camera mounted on the plane, feeding the image to the helmet screen. Very sophisticated system allowing for crazy SA

  7. Kharg is Iran's only oil termnal, at Iran-Iraq era! not today, now it's one of the sevral terminals not the only one! also Iran made pipeline to Oman sea to pass strate of hormooz and established oil terminal far away Kharg Islnad, also Kharg is highly important and secure area, therefore there is no info on public about how it defends. also Iran have capability to detect any incoming strike as soon planse takeoff from source and airforce and airdefence are ready to react this days not when they see missile incoming!

  8. Why do Israel have F35's. Let them fight a war with their own gear and see how they get on with it. Bog standard regional agitators without gross international support. Basically a posh Serbia

  9. Hey Cap,
    In the UA conflict…
RU gets its critical military supplies from North Korea…
Can UA w/ F16 (and/or gripen etc.) destroy the critical railroad bridges that supply RU from North Korea…
If not, what would it take? What does UA need to be given to have this strike succeed?
