Version with Argentine JF-17: https://youtu.be/J1qMladHJUQ
With the news that Argentina may be receiving 38 Danish F-16A MLUs, we simulate an Argentinian attack on the Falklands Islands and ask whether just 12 Eurofighter Typhoons with Meteor missiles can defend the islands from the new threat.

  2. Yeah I lived there for 36 years amazing airframe , loved the jargon speak by the. Way Falklands is a westerly wind so they were landing wrong way lol . I was in defence force and do remember the people are still under threat and argentine aircraft still push there luck . Not happy they getting these aircraft I don't particularly like fig but my family still live there . Radar stations you mentioned I won't comment on . I do wonder if America is an ally at times go back 50 years they supplied argentine army with weaponry and they invaded islands ten years on . I enjoyed the simulation but euro fighter 1435flt is an awesome aircraft. When I was chairman of goose green club I invited the squadron down from mpa for a few drinks what a night they presented a plaque saying thanks to buzz and the community of goose green for a great time . They also presented a chess set made out of f4 rivets and board was name out of a f4 panel but sadly was taken . Great guys who put there lives ar risk every time they get in the cockpit . I miss the sound of freedom when you here them fly by its an awesome sight .

  3. Marvelous ain't it. Britain can send all this armour and planes thousands of miles to defend virtually remote country, which really don't belong to us anyway. Yet back on Britain we are being overtaken by illegal invaders in rubber boats and can't deal with it. What a bloody joke this is.šŸ˜‚šŸ˜¢

  4. Complaints about unrealistic loadouts are a bit pointless, when the jets themselves are guess work potato mods. Honestly, if your doing the videos, just stick all the weapons on. Fly potato mods with all their potato weapons.

  5. Argentina wouldnt use F16 etc, it would deploy its drone and missile forces to take out brits ships and all occupiers of the Malvinas. China and Russia are ready to provide all those weapons any time soon.

  6. I'd love it if DCS had the aircraft to allow you to try recreating the Blackbuck raids. I finally got my uncle to talk about what went on (he was a Victor tanker navigator at the time and flew on five of them) and the stories make the hairs on the back of your neck stand-up. The utter lack of technology and fog of war and moving parts in the raids was mind-boggling.

  7. ASRAAM predates the 9X. It should have been the NATO standard WVR missile, codevelopped with the AMRAAM. After Germany got its hand on Warsaw pact R-73s they feld ASRAAM wonĀ“t be good enough, US congress couldnĀ“t get itself to buy a foreing missile and hence the AIM-9X was developed.

  8. preaty inacurate as the only flyworthy aircraft with arment that the argerntine air force has are fma ia 63 pampa trainer jets enven their skyhawks don't fly anymore as the argenitne air force can no loger aford the cost of flight per hour and their ia 58 pucara atack craft and the mirage iii/v/nashers have been retierd from service they was an atemp by the macri administration to put the super etendars of the argentine navy in flyaing coditions again but this was trow out by the fernandez administration

  9. Why wouldn't they be attacking the airfield at MP or PS with Skyhawks? Air combat is never just about air combat. It's about achieving an objective so the purpose wouldn't be just to fly F-16s around…they'd be escorting Skyhawks on an attack to make the runways on the FI unusable, thereby limiting British reinforcements in the future right? that'd make a far better, realistic scenario. Then it's not if you kill each F-16 but if you get THROUGH the F-16s and stop the Skyhawks.
