It is interesting. But I don't think the AA warheads would have 100% efficiency on detonation as they appear to have in this video.
I understand that these anti-ship missiles will first look for the biggest targets. Theoretically, If there was a big tanker or a cargo ship in the same flotilla as a carrier. Would this tactic fool the incoming missiles from attacking/looking for the carrier first? Assuming viability and realsisim isn't a factor in this scenario. Please feel free to educate me!

it's very possible that they might bring back the patriot missle system with hypersonic missle threats and build a small destroyer sized craft or add to carrier, nevermind lasers and railguns
I’m shocked (and very happy) that we (America) did so well against the hypersonic missiles.
I would doubt an attack would consist of just,one wave. Intelligent attack would be to launch multiple waves of less capable missiles to soak up the defense and then launch waves,of bigger more capable missiles

this is the exact reason they are putting 50 billion into laser weapon development, lasers up to 300kwh
also a more extreme method, is to use low yield "clean" tactical nuclear weapons, basically they can track the missile on radar, shoot a tac nuke and it doesn't even need to be in the same square mile to destroy the incoming threat, this is a real counter to Chinese missile barrages at Naval carrier groups. any real war with China and the gloves will be coming off very quickly, and China's logistics/leadership is dogshit.
Good simulation but you totally neglected to add the air to air intercept missiles from the dozen+ F35's/YF22's that were launched in the process. Not to mention that a carrier group has additional ship support that isn't reported to the masses. Oh and you forgot the laser defense systems carrier groups now have. USA all day!
Ballistic missile defense isn't easy, but it is possible and the US has been improving theirs for decades. What I want to see is how they'd fare against hypersonic glide vehicles… or better yet, ramjet powered hypersonic cruise missiles.
The simulation is not really correct as YJ21, as a ballistic missile, would come (almost) straight down at the targets, giving the radars of those warships such a challenge to detect, follow, and guide SAMs. The simulation still used YJ21 as conventional anti-ship missiles with faster speed. In a real war, the carrier group would face not only YJ21 but also its original land-based version DF21 and DF26, hundreds of them in a way that they arrive at the targets simultaneously. Overall I’d say the simulation is not currently capable of correctly simulating ballistic missiles.
Just keep in mind, the stats you use for all of China's weaponry in all your simulations are extremely hyped.
They are expect propaganda machines for all of their boasts, militarily and everything else.

Why would each Type 055 only fire 8 YJ-21? WIth 112 VLS cell surely they would carry more then 8 if that's their primary anti ship missile. It would be interesting to see a mixture of YJ-21 and YJ-18 fired in these salvos

How come only 1 YJ21 got through but on your earlier videos YJ-21 keeps getting pass through those SM-6 and SM-3? Im guessing you adjusted something to make American air defense better but as the war in Ukraine proves those hypersonic missiles just passed those patriot systems and destroyed it and that's only 6 and your simulation fired 72 missile and not one even got through now that is something fishy lol..

The first time I heard that patriot missiles are intercepting russian hypersonic missiles in Ukraine, I immediately lost interest in hypersonic missile systems. US navy's carrier strike group is still untouchable in simmulations and much more in real life.

The one thing missing is modern U.S. Naval combat tactics and surface warfare strategies. It would look totally different than this simulation
Like Russia's T-14 Amanda tank, China's DF missile program is just another bureaucrat scam to steal more funding from idiot dictators who don't understand physics. Even SR71 flying mach 3 at 60,000 ft needs to cool itself by circulating its own fuel, missile flying at mach 6 in the atmosphere would burn off quickly unless it slows down significantly, maybe 1-2 mach, plus there was never a video that showed DF could hit a moving target, probably due to lack of ability to re-acquire targets after reentry because the aerodynamic shape limiting its radar capability.

One thing I learned from this simulation is that I wouldn't want to be the Chinese, but you know what would have been really cool if we would have seen what would have happened after all the missiles were shot from China Like in the simulation and seeing the oncoming Super Carrier group to counter-attack that simulation would have been Great To see how the Chinese defense would have acted Against the counter attack. And then to add a little bit more fun to the simulation add another Carrier Like the way you guys did with more missiles against the US carriers but in Visa versa more ships from the US Just to see what would happen.🍿🥤👀👍

This is stupid. Want to know how stupid it is? Argentina managed to sunk 6 british battleships with a4B without avionics. No radars, some of them without a working altimeter, with wwII unguided bombs. No awacs, no satellites. Some early mirages with unguided bombs and 2 super etendarts with a total of 3 exocet missiles. The landed unexploded.bombs on 6 other battleships. All of this simulations vastly over estimate the ability of the defender

You do know that the missiles cannot be reload into the VLS at sea right? if they fire all rounds for one wave. They will be defendless for the second wave
