► Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood Story Synopsis

The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood is a thought-provoking narrative experience from the creators of The Red Strings Club. Featuring a richly diverse cast of characters, Tarot-like card creation, divination, and a branching story that spans time and space, The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood explores themes of identity, community, and personal responsibility in a beautifully hand-crafted universe.

You play as Fortuna, a Witch living exiled on an asteroid who forms a pact with a forbidden creature in the hopes of regaining her freedom. Reconnect with your Witch friends after a 200-year-long exile, meet new Witches, and use the cards you created to pierce through their pasts and futures. As you delve into this universe, you will see yourself immersed in the complex web of interests that surround your coven, leading to a political plot that will define the fate of the Cosmic Witch society.

  1. I played the demo for this during the Steam Next Fest; really impressed by it! I think it’s quite a feat for a videogame to convey that sense of witchy, feminine power. It feels pretty intimate to me. I plan on playing the full thing, once I’m done with Baldur’s Gate 3! 😄

  2. Romance isn't necessarily love. It's also strong emotion and sentiment towards something. I get the feeling that's more what they meant in this game. Strong emotions in general.

  3. 51:25 The coven seems like the easiest choice.
    1) It's already doomed to fail anyway according to your own reading.
    2) It's just an organisation. Doesn't even necessarily mean that anybody has to die for that. It could also just mean that they go bankrupt or something. 52:30 See?
    3) "That's what you get for exiling me./Here's proof you were exactly right to exile me."

With 2) having the most possibilities, maybe you could even push fate a little and see if you can bring down the covenant peacefullly. Like by getting everybody to leave by continuing to tell them that it will fall apart.

  4. I have this game on my wishlist, and this just convinced me to fully get it, the worldbuilding, sci-fantasy, and dialogue are awesome, and the little animated OP/intro thing they did is awesome. it seems I'm the percent whose jam this game is 1000% lmao
(The problem is that I just got another game and I don't wanna make a game backlog since I already have 3 games in that backlog ohno)

  5. You're a witch, Welonz! 🧙‍♀
Honestly, this game looks intriguing. And the pixel art is neat. I'd like to see more.
Also, Fortuna has a normal stove with an oven right there. So what is this giant cauldron for?

  6. 1:03:25 I wish both of those options also had identical "(Lie) …" versions of themselves.
1:08:40 If you're readings are also shaping the future, rather than just reading it, then that's a risky one to choose. After all the arrest could be yourself.

  7. Cool game, I like the "dress-up" gameplay implementation of making the cards. I wonder how much you can really affect the story though. Would be very disappointing if you don't really have any influence

  8. Looks pretty cool and in the same spirit as Red Strings Club, which was great, but with a different vibe to it!
What I'm really wondering now is about the readings: is it that all the possibilities will happen but you're only saying one? or you're actually choosing the one that will happen, like deciding their fate? or some choices can be wrong and you're trying to pick the right one based on the card meaning?
Either way that's interesting to figure out and I wouldn't mind a full LP if you feel like it 🙂

  9. Looks promising. Ábramar was already displayed in a secret room in Blasphemous, but noone could make the connection back then. I wonder if there are any references to Blasphemous in this game.

  10. This first look made me go watch your "The Red Strings Club" playthrough, I absolutely loved it, good cozy 8-bit games about life are my faves and this one looks very promising, I hope you continue it as a series 💟
Thank you for everything again Welonz ✨

  11. I chose to pay with the coven as well. I just thought it was satisfyingly "greek tragedy" to have it so that exiling her for predicting the end of the coven would inadvertently be what set the end of the coven in motion.
