  1. It's been a while since you guys did a podcast!

I ordered the Turtles game off Amazon. But the physical is taking a lot longer to come out than the digital. It's been a long wait.

For games, I've been picking up a few things on 3DS. I'm preparing for the 3DS's store shutdown and I've been keeping a close eye on the store for months, snagging its last releases and waiting for the Parascientific series to go on sale. It took a long time, but at last those games went on sale and I've picked them up. I think I've pretty much filled out my 3DS library now and grabbed everything I want from the store now. You may be surprised to know the 3DS has still gotten a handful of indie releases trickling in. A few guys got their games in just before the deadline, and I think 1 or 2 more games may still be coming in the months ahead. Now that I've got a good collection, it's time to actually play through them. The 3DS remains my primary travel console!

Speaking of travel, as you already know, I've been doing a lot of hiking the last few months. It's done wonders for me. My health has improved quite a bit, as well as my psychological well-being too. It's really been a transformative experience for me.

One style if game I've started to take an interest in lately is visual novels. It's easy to just dismiss these as so much of the game is reading dialog. But I've found that the stories in some of them are surprisingly compelling. It's kind of like a "pick your own adventure" book and it's interesting to see how seemingly trivial choices can change the story. I don't know if you could get interested in such a genre, but you might give a cheap one a try and see if it appeals to you at all.

Looking forward to Pokémon with you boys in November!
