You can reread letters in your menu screen. It's under the first tab at the top that looks like an open journal and is one of the side tabs on that tab. lol, I hope that made sense! Also, the tree planting festival is the one I told you about that'll take several years to complete.
Those coin circles are merely decoration design. They do absolutely nothing. On another note, the battle leveling is a bit of a grind to do. I've gone through all stages of the mines multiple times, and am still not at max level. So always make sure to kill all monsters on each level. And on an important note: when you reach level 30 of the mine (in each type) you won't get an elevator at level 35, so plan for an all day grind to go from 30 to 40 (which is the bottom of each mine type).
When you fight monsters, you really don't need to worry too much about attacks, so you don't need to run unless an area effect one happens and that's accompanied by a red or white marking on the ground around the monster (as you've now seen). They'll always telegraph what they're going to do. Also, there's a small stun effect when you attack (with sword being the fastest attack weapon), so if you're aggressive in your attack, they have little time to respond. But, yeah, use that hammer until you can get one of the swords that has a damage of 100. It'll be worth it, even with the 30 point drop in damage.
I am finally getting to complete watching a few videos today. Been a busy one for me. We've been out 3 days in a row now… and it's quite exhausting. LOL But now I can relax and stay home. Hoping to get some baking done tomorrow… but will have to see what I feel like. Anyway… this is a good game. I'm really enjoying watching the way it goes. Also loved watching Everdream. That took me watching it several times through the day before I finally saw it all. Kept being interrupted by this and that. Ah well. Tis the Season.
Yes, Vortex is for under water. Explosives are to help in the mines.
So glad you got the way down to 25 in mines. Can't believe it took so long. Tree festival next and a visit to the Band of Smiles. Good episode.
