Anyone with any level of professionalism in their line of work would have a clear desktop policy. If they’re going to leave sensitive information just lying around, that’s on them.
If you don't let them violate your 1st 4th and 5th amendment rights, they can and will charge you with obstruction, and then they can arrest you and probably add resisting arrest even though there never was any wrong doing on your part originally.

When cops are confronted by the laws they swear an oath to protect and it goes against unlawful 'policies', thay don't lnow how to react. They mumble all kinds of sh*t and don't have logical/legal responses to the challenges to their perceived authority.
How do US citizens continue to tolerate the ignorance of public employees and law enforcement officers whose salaries we pay for? What is wrong with our system of government that allows this abuse of power? Where is the justificaton for the corrupt actions of these public employees? Our government is not doing their job if they alllow these abuses to continue.
I get so angry when I watch public officials/law enforcement officers attempt to trample all over our rights under the Constitution which they swore an oath to protect. Where in their life did they lose their direction? I would guess during the Police Academy or Public Service Training. How can they claim to be public servants when they commit repeated offences against the public?
When cops, no matter the country, don't know the laws or the rights of the people to record from the public anything they can see, this is the result. We have ignorant officers approach citizens acting within their rights, confronted by that ignorance. Where did they get their training? Trump University?
