  1. A couple weeks back, we did get a substantial discount Magic Key discount at the Pixar Place Hotel because of the ongoing construction. If we were to go back, I'd ask for that discount again. MTC

  2. It seems to me that the Disney company has completely lost sight of what the California adventure was designed to be I mean Disneyland already has something called Fantasyland I think they should fire whoever came up with this idea in a higher all new people

  3. Yes! Jack Jack on a stick. I hate it! So poorly executed. I agree. Incredicoaster is the WORST thing they have done in recent memory…and Little Mermaid so ❤poor. It should have been based on the Peter Pan ride system.

  4. Galaxy's edge 100% should have replaced Paradise Pier. DCA is a IP dumping ground anyway. Might as well use that space for things people actually want. Star Wars never belonged in Disneyland in the first place.

  5. For all it’s faults, my favorite thing about Big Hero Six was how creative a lot of the superhero stuff was. The costumes and the powers were pretty unique with a few exceptions. I wanted to see that reflected in the new land, but the concept art makes me think that isn’t going to happen :/ hopefully the food will be decent at least, since thats apparently most of what their adding

  6. Lamplight Lounge alone is easily worth the misery of the rest of Pixar Pier and a massive improvement over Ariels. A lot of the rest is hack and confusing and could be way better. I was most disappointed because I was expecting the Incredicoaster to get the same treatment that Guardians Tower got, which turned a lot of haters around once it was opened.

  7. As someone who often visits the quaint and rustic seaside towns of coastal Oregon and Northern California, I love the aesthetic of Pacific Wharf. I am so very saddened by this cheap and jarring reskin.

Big Hero 6 doesn't deserve Pacific Wharf; it deserves a whole land with a replica Lucky Cat cafe building and a trolley car down the middle!

I always said that Cars Land should have been expanded into Bug's Land, instead of shoehorning in Avenger's Campus.

  8. I dig these Disneyland and WDW opinions, but I notice from most Disney content creators and/or reporters that they get way too personal instead of talking about the change and comment about the experience. Let people make their own opinions based on their experience. Talking negative about something you cannot change doesn’t make sense. Let’s go back to talking about what was experienced and let people go and experience it for themselves.

  9. I’m not sure I understand why it would be offensive to have the bridge? I’m actually excited for the change. I would love to see more Asian influence at the parks and food options.

  10. They need to scrap everything (restaurants, restrooms, rides) from silly symphony swings to seaside souvenirs – and add a new land I feel it’s enough space for a zootopia land maybe I’m wrong though but that whole area needs to go! Or maybe just add one new E ticket attraction but that area needs foot traffic

  11. I am so over the princess and the frog being jam down my throat every where I look it was a good movie, but it wasn’t great. I can think of several movies that deserve the attention and they refuse to give it all they’re doing is creating a dislike for princess and the frog. It’s gotten to the point now where it’s like I don’t even care About the movie anymore and at first I thought it was cute now I just can’t stand it so good job Disney what about all the other great classic I’ve never gotten anything fox and the hound the rescuers stich and so many more

  12. Totally agree with you Tom. I finally thought that DCA was finally heading in the right direction after it’s 2012 re-theming. I haven’t like it’s mismatched theming since than with the addition of avengers campus and Pixar pier.

  13. San Fransokyo is such a sad excuse of a retheme. Disney's recent idea of "fixing" something is slapping characters on it, and calling it a day. Look at Pixar Pier. Such a hodgepodge of different ideas.

  14. Even though San Fransokyo is a cheap overlay the fact that we are getting a Baymax meet and greet in California is a big deal. Most Californians haven’t had that experience since it was never available here. If we can get some Japanese shopping in the area akin to the shops in Epcot that would be nice as well.

  15. I think that DVC Disneyland Hotel are a little too different than the retro theme of the overall hotel. I always choose Disneyland hotel for the retro Disneyland theming, if the DVC tower was retro theme they would have had me roped into becoming a member.
