  1. The authenticity of this film is at 110%. I have watched it a gazilllion times, and it never stales . . . and I am very particular as to what I watch. One of its utmost moments of perfect, human authenticity is when, while standing in the car because they did not go to the movies, Connor asks Jayden "Is that what you want?" Jayden says, "No," but it sounds like it comes from the back of his throat; which, in my experience, is where we speak from when we get that lump from strong emotion. That is just one example of the vital (and, at times, vivacious) authenticity the actors (and, I am sure, the director) summon to this story. It could have been told superficially; it could have been told in a tawdry way; but it was told, enacted, and dialogued in the most humane way possible. Jayden and Connor could have gone to my high school—they are *that* authentic. I have been reading Poetry for half a century as of last year, so I think I have some credibility when I say that this video is more than a short film, it is more than just a message about Love: instead, it is a living Poem.

  4. The film's last shot, the graffiti heart with their names in it becoming colorized to the rainbow is an incredibly brilliant way to conclude this film. It is subtle without being "cute," and effective without being forced or tawdry. It is, really, the last proof, and a very powerful proof, of the film's authenticity.

  6. Very nice film. I enjoyed it quite a lot. Thank you for such a tender story with its own tense moments flowing from within the developing romance instead of from some other peripheral source. I will recommend Connor & Jayden. Thanks.
