BJP state president K Annamalai alleged that late DMK chief M Karunanidhi was fully aware of the ceding of Katchatheevu islet to Sri Lanka, though DMK was enacting a drama that the islet was ceded by then Congress govt without its knowledge.
Annamalai told reporters in Coimbatore on Monday, that then DMK MP Era Chezhian had criticised the Congress for ceding Katchatheevu islet and walked out of Parliament in 1974.
