  1. You had 400,000 men you had an additional how many allies for the French you're telling me prior to evacuating the men you could not have built defenses around Dunkirk and have those 400,000 men hold the city and keep resupplying them to ensure the Germans would see a costly victory. This is why America should never have got involved the Brits don't think Europeans do not think they require the Americans to help them all the time just look at the Great War it was a stalemate until we got involved.

  2. In the UK Bernard Matthews (not the same Matthews in question) is a household name.

Bernard Matthews was a turkey farmer that more or less cornered that market in the UK; the company that carries his name still operates in the UK today.

Thus, I can only picture these things as giant coupes full of Turkey's 😂

  3. Mobile pillboxes designed to be moved around the airfields to defend against the Fallschirmjäger vanguard forces that would drop in before the main invasion force to capture the airfields so they could fly in German troops and equipment.

  4. I sorta like a mobile pill box idea. Enemy recon thinks a pill box is at a spot an come back an its moved, not to mention its fortified against most arms an likely slightly elevated being on a truck chassis.
