Compulsive Purchases, Solving Crazy Carburetor Mysteries, And The Death Kart Calls Us Out

Facebook Marketplace strikes again and we end up with yet another Jeep XJ we couldn’t refuse, and in the meantime our post race inspection of Slaghammer’s 383 reveals a sneaky little problem that’s plagued us from the beginning.
Also, we change directions slightly with our vintage Gasser and Dr. Art seeks to extract revenge against the tiny little minibike that tried to kill him twice with an 1800 amp electric death kart.

  1. I thought you "declutter" by putting all the extra car parts and other miscellaneous stuff inside your project cars? Have I been doing it wrong? Using this method, buying more vehicles = more declutter storage!

  2. Hey uncle Tony, this UJ down here in s.oregon at3.58 am! Or as my nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews call me Uncle Jeff, on your latest video you were saying that you needed to get rid of stuff from your garage do you have a tunnel ram or a good high-rise for a 440 it's a 1979 out of motorhome rebuilt less than 10,000 miles, and it's about stage one and a half. I have had it at 80 to 90mph on speedo in a 35 ft motorhome on I5! Has some kind of a cam in it ,high output electronic ignition ,stainless steel headers,Carter w/plastic bowl, forged crank and balanced.I'm not sure what the cam is but the thing would definitely move down the road.i had all reciepts but mice did em in storage, and I plan to put it into something much smaller! Also it has a rebuilt transmission I'm not sure which one it is but I believe it has a little more stall converter than stock you know those have a three-piece Driveline let me know if you got something ,give me a shout I'll be happy to buy it from ya! I'm here in S.Oregon take care UJ.

  3. Drilling out a jet? I didn't know that was a thing.
As a layman I like to think I would have tried to scratch off the number. I would wouldn't eat yoghurt from that guy's fridge – it might be paint.

  4. New to channel. I had a Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme that I totalled large in the 80s in LA. Ran off the road in the rain while driving like an idiot
40 years later back in the UK I still think about that car.

  5. put the 451 in the dart that slaghammer 383 is gonna go low 7s all day if you change the intake and go with a single 750-950 cfm the heads are built for low end with a tunnel ram built for hi rpm that tunnel ram belongs on the 451 , that old school metal window screen between the intake and heads to atomize fuel better would probably help a bit too
