‘Complete incompetence’: Liberal Party ‘incapable’ of making a difficult decision

Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles has blasted the Liberal Party, saying they are incapable of making a “difficult decision”.

“Those opposite when they were in government, chronically underfunded defence,” Mr Marles said during Question Time on Tuesday.

“And underwriting it all was a complete incompetence, incompetence that was led by their last defence minister the leader of the opposition.”

  1. This POS stopped long range guided missiles being made in Australia in Victoria by Defendtex, a Australian company, by Australian workers with Australian designs, estimated 8000 jobs in support industries.
All for a fraction of the price of foreign missiles.
Marles just handed a contract to a foreign company to build those missiles for many billions of dollars.
Then marles has bragged it will create 3 to 4 hundred jobs
    BIG WOOP.

  2. Marles exposes the LNP for the total farce they are. No policies just all bluster and negative politics. All just negative politics. Can't do better just try to take down the opposition.

  3. Even though I didn't vote for Labor, as an Australian born and bred I am completely and utterly disgusted with the Labor party that they seem to be focused on minority and fringe groups and they seem to totally disregard the majority of everyday Australians apart from expecting us to foot the bill for them.

  4. Get stuck into Dutton, Labor. Dutton is making us hated in the Asia Pacific as racists and thugs who need a kicking. Dutton cant lead, cant work with anyonyone or respect anyone who is different. The world has moved on from thug queensland coppers who dont even know where the rest of the world is. Dutton is a 1960s boofhead who will get us into trouble.

  6. No justice in this society, I know because the culprits will get away with it and retire with nice little pensions that they have no use for, but it's the ones who voted for them at the last federal election, and their offspring that will pay for what the teals have done to the balance in Australian politics, and for what?

  7. Peter Dutton, the soon-to-be next Prime minister, is doing a great job with his credible attacks by continuing to expose how weak the Albanese government is,
1} in bringing down the cost of living and the electricity prices,
2} protecting the safety of the Australian public.
3} Massive housing shortages for the Australian people… housing shortages are going to get much worse, as Albanese keeps flooding the country with his mass migration policy
4} Albanese also have the most generous fast-out-of-Gaza visas than the rest of Gaza's allied countries.

  10. As always, Labor doing what they do best 'The Pot calling the Kettle black.' Always gifting their own failings to someone else. Never willing to accept that they could be wrong no matter how wrong. "Pride commeth before a fall" and great can be that fall. Perhaps another term in the wilderness will allow them to reflect on the reasons WHY they make so many decisions contrary to the best interests of the Australian people. AUSTRALIANS FIRST! WE ALL MATTER!
