The graphics look worst than COH2.
Not sure about this new version, but in older versions of the game a combination of MG, mortar and AT gun was usually a good team to hold a point against infantry and vehicles. I always like to find or create chokepoints, then hold them along a front before expanding. I'm a turtle.
I'm looking forward to this coming out as I still play the original game with the Blitzkrieg Mod daily.

same thing, absolutely. i bet the single player will be just as russophobic as in the previous game
I am by no way an CoH expert, but I think it is generally a bad idea to send your troops into unknown territory without keeping an eye on them, letting them fight in the open, or engaging numerical superior enemies, especially if you don't make use of the cover system.
It was fun to see beginners play LOL Oh wait this is a new version of COH?

as other say, it jsut looks like both the older CoH so far.
btw, Unconnected nodes if they're like before, doesn´t produce any resources if behind enemy lines.

It's a mobile app game. You can tell so easily with that arcade view point and tap interface buttons and command structure.
CoH was always marginal, but at least it seems they are no longer trying to court RTS and strategy gamers.

So having missed the playtest, can you tell me if you can adjust the UI scale at all. The game looks like a mobile game with the UI scale and perspective.
I'm not sure Relic still has the top quality devs around to give it that final level of polish they used to have. The game has a lot going for it and is definitely fun, but it's being held back, it's still not that crisp amazing game we used to get from them before DoW3.
Compared to COH 2 they really pumped the breaks on the combat it looks like.
I hope we get glider infantry- the animations were always impressive in COH2
The hardcore fans doubt this game. Casuals or newcomers seem to like it.
The graphics question compared to previous titles I boil to developer brain drain and simplicity for more accessibility for more potato PCs.
My brain wants draws parallels with the Civ5 Vs Civ6 debate.
I really love Company of Heroes but CoH1 is still the best !!!! CoH 2 and 3 are more like a dlc than a new game 😉 I bought and played CoH2 at the time but i was a little disappointed and now i have the same feeling with 3 after seeing this. 😪
so players waited 10 years for a stupid copy of coh2 ??? I hope this game will be a huge failure so let us move forward new ideas new visions….
In recent years games have not been able to move forward because of these lazy greedy companies willingness to make a profit without any effort this game is a cheap copy

The ui in this game is fucking garbage. I dont know how they keep messing it up.
Top tip, turn your camera around, so your bases are at the bottom of the map, much easier to play!
