Community leaders, family seeks justice in killing of 3-year-old boy



Grieving loved ones, the mayor of Fort Lauderdale, the police chief and a city commissioner are appealing for help in the death of a 3-year-old boy who lost his life this past weekend during a drive-by shooting at a birthday party at Riverland Park.

  1. Speeches are admirable but actions speak louder than words this is not the only incident or the only family if America wanted to clean up communities it would have been done already but somehow this is better

  2. My family friend in Michigan is dealing with something very similar. Four years ago, their three years old son, Messiah was also slain in a drive by shooting. idiots targeted the wrong house. The family is now trying to pass something known as Messiah's Law which will "Under the legislation, a person convicted would receive up to 30 years in prison for injuring a minor, and up to 40 years in prison for killing a minor." Even if it was a situation like this where the minor was not the target. I hope Messiah's Law gets passed. I hope all of these poor children get justice for their lives being cut short.
