  1. 🎶… Sometimes you wanna go
    Where everybody knows your name
And they're always glad you came
You wanna be where you can see (ah-ah)
Our troubles are all the same (ah-ah)
You wanna be where everybody knows your name. 🎶🎵

  2. Oh, so nostalgic, the classic check yes or no! Why did all kids do that when they wrote notes to their crush ?
And her answer was sweet and smart, I was the worst and say maybe, or idk, until they snapped and hated me when they realized I was never gonna be romantic/kiss them bc I just wanted to be friends–
but I never had a guy show interest through a note! I may have done better without the face to face pressure. So ashamed of my wimpy, hurtful behavior, but thankfully I got better at assertiveness as a young adult.

  3. This video is like a Simpsons episode. It starts off with something that ends up being completely unrelated to the plot or theme or the episode 😂 for anyone who doesn't have ADHD, this is what its like in our heads "I had a crush on Erica as a kid… So anyways, I want to go where everybody knows your name."

  4. How cute and sweet! We dont know our mailman's name either. I don't know how he got the name HotChocolate (I think it just popped out of my mouth one day and stuck). But it keeps me from having to know his real name and we all know who we're talking about. The white mail lady's name is French Vanilla. It's not a perfect system but so far it's working.

  5. my mom has a friend who was single for most of my life. she was a caretaker for her dad and then was alone when he died. she started making friends with her mail carrier starting with them both sharing memories of her dad. now they're married and have been for the better part of a decade.

  6. We had the same mailman for a solid 25 years of my life (and he had been delivering mail in town for 35 years prior to that) he knew everyone and didn't look at the address anymore, just delivered by name. Well let's just say this caused some issues for me, let's say my name is Dan Johnson, and for the sinilarly named Dan Johnston on the other side of town. We would meet up and swap mail every week or two 🤣

  7. The U.S. doesnt foster a sense of community enough. Italy and Spain do this naturally. They chat, live and help each other all the time. Work is abreviated by siestas for rest, family and joy. Love over money, family community and less crime because of it.

  8. Most towns in europe are centered around a piazza where everyone gathers and shares skills and help. A lovely thing. Everyone walks to the grocery stores and chats and trains are only one euro. More conducive to life.
