I wonder, is anyone of the people on the statue from Deadlock?
I do like that Team Fortress's F plate is missing from the statue. That much of "a bunch of rejects."

    Demoman getting explosives envy?

You remember the dalmation puppy that Pyro played with at the Tuefort library? I think that is the one.

Baboon, what did Medic reveal to the TFC heavy by the end of comic 6?

Also, Pyro and dog "sharing the same braincell" is just adorable.

    Fighting off the unending hord.
Want to live forever? Probably not. For as long as feels satisfying? Maybe.

  2. If were going by implications the administrator's deal with the mann family is seen on the cover, zepphenia had something to do with the death of the administrator's parents or whoever the 2 are, but due to how long they lived, that memory became more and nore corrupted details changed to eventually a revenge without the memory, hence why theres 3 different panels with child administrator.

  3. I love the meaning and symbolism behind TF2's final issue. Valve has been maintaining TF2 for almost 2 decades now, and I would understand if their motivation and momentum to keep updating the game are no more, especially since they've been persuing new things with Deadlock and the Steam Deck.

Just like how the Administrator has been keeping up with her feud for so long that she has forgotten why she did it in the first place, Valve has been with the game for so long that they've most likely shelved most of their major plans for TF2's future. They have moved on from the game to develop new and exciting things, and I'm excited to see what's next in the future.

  4. This is truly a final goodbye to the fans, meanwhile we keep pushing to keep the cheaters down and out.

And by how the comic symbolises it, we looked at TF2's situation wrong, it's not that Valve doesn't want to update the game but they lacked the drive to do so, shown by Hal finally putting down his hat.

A man can push a boulder up a hill hard, but a man can only push so much before he falls to his knees and rest the boulder on it's perch.

That's what TF2 is, Valve has already push this boulder up but now they put it to rest.

Goodbye TF2 and to the community keep fighting like a mann against the cheaters

  5. **Incoming negative opinion, you read it at your own discretion.**

I thought the comic was really bad, a huge disappointment and simply a confession from the developers that they want to abandon the game people still want to play, and still want to invest in… and yet they didn't want to allow the players to decide for themselves what to make of that experience. It appeared perfectly made to cut off any potential, and end all points in an unsatisfying way.

Perhaps Valve have finally lost their patience with the community, or maybe they are just too incompetent to realise what they do is incredibly insulting to anyone that believed in their capability as a creative studio and valued this game and its cultural impact.

Review it for yourself from an impartial lens, this comic is a goodbye letter from an Ex who ghosted you, professing how much they value you whilst on the flip side, neglecting you, denying your potential and assuring you none of it ever mattered at all. Tear apart that goodbye letter and tell her your going to keep the dog.

Valve made the game, and Valve neglected it. But we own our opinion of it, and our time with it. We decide if this is good enough, and I it is not good enough for me. Take it away and do it over, or don't bother doing it at all. People all over are recognising we have the power to shape our own culture, if we don't like what you make we don't have to accept it – we can take whatever please from it. You will never own what is in our heads.

  6. It kinda reminds me of a "from all of us, to all of you" thing, both for saying Merry Smissmas, but also for saying thank you for everything, and ending the story.

  7. Ok, it amazes me how poorly read you were during all of this. I don't like pulling the "media literacy" card, but how the fuck does someone misunderstand and poorly interpret characters and stories THIS badly?
